Public bug reported: On Ubuntu 12.04, the file /etc/dovecot/README sends the user to a directory /usr/share/doc/dovecot/example-config/. However, after installing dovecot-imapd package, this directory doesn't exist. Instead, the correct path is /usr/share/doc/dovecot-core/dovecot/example-config/. Public bug reported: The package seems to have been updated as a security update. As suggested here: http://askubuntu.com/questions/76981/cannot-make-wi-fi-hotspot the workaround is to do a sudo killall dnsmasq before creating the hotspot. You need to do that every time. Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I couldn't reproduce this upgrading from 5.1 5.1.41-3ubuntu12 to 5.1.66-0ubuntu0.10.04.1. I created a MyISAM table, upgraded, and the database and table are still there. We need to confirm that this affects other users, either by determining the exact steps to reproduce this issue, or by seeing other reports (or affects me too on this bug). Are you able to pin down steps to reproduce this, please? It's hard for me to reproduce this bug since it happend automatically. I've restored the data from a backup in the meantime and since this is our monitoring server i can't really retry it to get the same results. After upgrading my Amazon machine to Ubuntu 12.04, every time I run zsh I get

I could add the device to the alsa-lib blacklist but that would not solve the problem, just remove the S/PDIF connection. I think the key to understand this problem is: Device iec958:1 doesn't support 44100 Hz, changed to 46875 Hz. Now that's a weird sample rate. I wonder if this is actually the case, i e, that the true sample rate of the speakers are 46875 Hz, or if there's something in the lsusb device information that's wrong. Just to add something as a reply on comment #114: Ubuntu has applied this patch already since 06 Jan 2011 all versions till nowadays, as you can see in the changelogs here: http://packages.ubuntu.com/quantal/xserver-xorg-core Select Ubuntu Changellog and then search for 208_switch_on_release.diff. Even after almost two years, there has been noone to file a bug report that this change breaks anything.
