[Bug 252093] Re: sox does not handle more than 32 files
This (the original problem) has been fixed in SoX 14.2.0. There is no internal limit on the number of files anymore. There are still limits from the OS/shell: 1. The length of the command line is limited, a longer line may be silently trimmed. To work around this, use a playlist file (.m3u) instead of listing the input files on the command line. 2. SoX opens all of its input files before processing, so the OS has to support that many open files. I suspect Mark (comment #1) hit the first problem. ** Changed in: sox (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/252093 Title: sox does not handle more than 32 files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sox/+bug/252093/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 914756] Re: symbol error launching sox v14.3.0 under 10.04.3
This error indicates a mismatch between SoX and the installed libsox, or any of its optional formats. [Bug 1093139] Re: csv import: fails to parse dates
It doesn't import the dates in the csv file provided by my bank. If it is only designed to import dates that use a specific separator then this is a bug with the specification, rather than the implementation. Either way, it is a reasonable user expectation that the programme will import a csv file provided by a bank without having to edit the file by hand.
