Re: [Bug 1144873] Re: lxc-execute: Failed to find an lxc-init Error during lxc smoke tests
The problem is that src/lxc/start.c:lxc_poll, which checks signalfd for sigchld from container init, can start after the container init has exited. It then hangs trying to talk over the monitor. The container init mainwhile waits to be reaped (by the fn which called lxc_poll, which does waitpid after lxc_poll completes). We can pretty easily make the race shorter, but I'd like to get rid of the race altogether and am not sure yet of the cleanest way to do that. status: inprogress ** Changed in: lxc (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged = In Progress -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to lxc in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1144873 Title: lxc-execute: Failed to find an lxc-init Error during lxc smoke tests To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/+bug/1144873/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

There is a new version of libasound2 in precise-proposed, but you have the old version of libasound2 from precise-updates installed for amd64, and apt doesn't manage to pick a solution that upgrades libasound2:amd64 before installing libasound2:i386. [Bug 1152496] [NEW] Remove default value for where to install grub
Public bug reported: Hi This is not really a bug report, but rather a improvement request. The subject is close to the subject of #461085 No default value should be used for the location where to install grub, as, inadvertently, the user may omit to specify where he really wants to install grub, and the /dev/sda value may be a great inconvenience for the user. The point that he made a mistake seems to me less relevant than avoiding him to make that mistake. He may even want no grub to be installed. For the least, showup a confirmation request, but rather remove any default value and, if the user did not specify any location, ask him to confirm he does not want any grub to be installed. This seems to be a Hardware Issue, i.e. Simple Scan does not support your scanner perfectly -- or possibly not at all. Unfortunately such problems happen more often then they should, and while it might indeed be a problem with Simple Scan, in our experience, most of the time it is not. This is why we prepared a check-list at [1] that will let you find out whether or not it really is a problem with Simple Scan and what your options are in either case. Please read that list and tell us how you decided to proceed. I will set this bug to Incomplete, so a friendly robot will expire this bug in 60 days if you do not respond. These are the correct commands to use to pass such a wildcard to apt, otherwise the shell will interpret ‘*’ in it's own way and replace it with specific file names.
