Public bug reported: After suspending, my x230 laptop only occasionally restarts the wifi card. The wifi light on the laptop fails to come on. Reboot fixes this, as does closing the laptop and trying again to resume. 1) Next time you might want to file the bug report using the following command so that the relevant logs are automatically attached for you: ubuntu-bug nvidia-331 I did it exactly the same way. 2) I can install ubuntu nvidia driver again, so, what logs are you interested in? 3) Any way, without installing ubuntu nvidia driver, is it normal that all nvidia binaries are placed in /usr/lib/nvidia-331/bin? Don't know if it's related, but recently (last week or so) I've had it re-size when I open it, nothing else. The first few times it went to a few pixels wide, maybe 10. More recently it seems to stop around 90px. For me it's width only, height remains the same. If it makes a difference, I was trying out different desktop gui's, unity's so darned heavy... Public bug reported: Hello I have two issues I think are related. sometimes Firefox freeze on one tab when I click on a Firefox/thunderbird link or sometimes when I look a a youtube video, it is random. When it freeze I can click on another tab and have the correct title for it but the conten stay frozen on the same tab. Sometimes it does not freeze but the web content shakes itself and stop shaking when I open a new tab. I have tried safe mode : same issue. I have created a new profile : same issue. Public bug reported: Hello I'm using the latest Steam Client on linux but the issue was the same with the previous versions current version built : aug 28 2014 at 03:25:10 steam API : V016 steam package version : 1409240101 Some timesn the Steam Gui seems to want to stay always at the first plan and every click on the mouse on another application (Firefox, Thunderbird, any others), also the Unity launcher is frozen; put me back on the steam window. I've contacted the steam support and they said : Steam Support is currently unable to provide assistance with the Steam for Linux beta client. I suppose than means they only supports SteamOS which I don't want to get, still fine with Ubuntu. Hi, I have tried the acpi_osi boot parameter and now the brightness keys work. Thank you! Asus F551M hasn't an ambient light sensor. Public bug reported: If one changes the playlist while shuffle mode is active rhythmbox starts playing with the intercept of both old and new playlist.
