[Bug 1426893] Re: qemu-kvm virtual machines crash with some but not all ubuntu flavors when vmvga video is selected
Initially it sounded a bit like some part of the graphics causes issues. But then this would hang or drop to a textual mode and not shut off the VM. If this is still happening, is the shut down immediate (like ripping out power) or slightly delayed (doing a shutdown sequence like if the power button was pressed on a real system)? There might be further info on the host in /var/log/syslog, /var/log/libvirt/libvirtd.log, and in a qemu log named after the VM name under /var/log/libvirt/qemu/. If you can still reproduce, the shutdown still, please attach the above logs here. Thanks. ** Changed in: qemu (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to qemu in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1426893 Title: qemu-kvm virtual machines crash with some but not all ubuntu flavors when vmvga video is selected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/1426893/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1342675] Re: Random characters in screen text suddenly disappear
I have this problem on Ubuntu 15.04. I had it on previous versions of Ubuntu as well. I did a clean install of 15.04 so the bug is still present in 15.04 (not a remnant of the earlier versions). See attached screenshot. I've seen the missing characters occur in Nautilus and in the gray bar at the top of windows in Ubuntu (e.g., Firefox, gedit, Libreoffice, file download window). [Bug 1464669] Re: New upstream microreleases 9.1.18, 9.3.9, 9.4.4
Hello Martin, or anyone else affected, Accepted postgresql-9.1 into trusty-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/postgresql-9.1/9.1.18-0ubuntu0.14.04 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository. Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users. If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision. Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . [Bug 1465685] Re: OTA4 SMS function now fails
Under 'Carrier' in Settings I have an option for 'Automatically' - which was ticked and defaulted to Phone Co-op. I also have two manual settings available, both of them named Phone Co- op. I am guessing one is the default picked up from the SIM card and the other is from the [recently updated] provider database. A conflict between the two entries could cause an intermittent fault ? Automatic allocation could result in a 50% failure rate, logically. Though presumably only if one set of parameters is incorrect in some particular ? I have chosen one of the manual sets available. Hope I chose the right one :-) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1465685 Title: OTA4 SMS function now fails To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/messaging-app/+bug/1465685/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
