[Bug 78884] great news
Hello, I've got great news for you, you're going to be really surprised, just take a look http://bit.do/dERrv Warmest regards, Gerardo Dalena From: Bug 78884 [mailto:78...@bugs.launchpad.net] Sent: Friday, August 04, 2017 11:13 PM To: chaos.entalp...@libero.it Subject: That was too close Sorry but I'm with Randy Orton on this. I loved watching Goldberg spear motherfuckers. Even if they didn't have a long term investment in him, this was the era where they didn't do one month schizophrenic storyline turnarounds. They kept Goldberg believably going for a great long while by - gasp - actually having him progress up the card, instead of like with Ryback where he beat a handful of jobbers then was suddenly challenging for the World Title. [Bug 1638957] Re: [MIR] http-parser, dependency of sssd
I reviewed http-parser version 2.1-2 as checked into zesty. This shouldn't be considered a full security audit but rather a quick gauge of maintainability. No CVEs in our database - http-parser provides an API with callbacks to handle HTTP parsing. It doesn't do any networking itself, strictly protocol parsing. - Build-Depends: debhelper, dh-exec, dpkg-dev - Does not daemonize - No maintainer scripts - No initscripts - No dbus services - No setuid - No binaries in PATH - No sudo fragments - No udev rules - Tests are run during the build; they're ugly in the build logs but they're there - No cron jobs - Clean build logs - No subprocesses spawned - No memory management - No file IO - No logging - No environment variables - No networking - No privileged sections of code - No cryptography - No tmp files - No webkit - No JS - No PolicyKit - Clean cppcheck http-parser is a by-hand character-by-character http parser. http is not easy so neither is this code but it's remarkably clean given the complexity involved. [Bug 1133477] Re: [SRU] cut-n-paste move files got stuck forever
> 1.28.4 includes the fixing commit. I have just checked, and the new upstream release only contains lp1133477-client-use-sync-methods-instead-of-flushing-dbus.patch, which fixes the Nautilus crash, but doesn't fix the entire bug, which is that file moving is extremely slow with more than a couple of files. [Bug 1708766] [NEW] mate-control-center windows always get raised when any other window is raised
Public bug reported: On Ubuntu MATE 17.04 and 17.10 : Open Firefox, A terminal and any other program you want, then open also the sound settings. Then hit CTRL + ALT + D to hide all windows, after that, use ALT + TAB to go through the window list and select your terminal window, and release. Expected behavior: only the terminal should be un-minimized. Actual behavior: the terminal and the sound settings window are un- minimized. If you open other settings windows from the control center, those windows are raised as well. Not sure if the fault lies in Marco or m-c-c, but the bug does not happen when using Compiz instead of Marco. [Bug 1598463] Re: samba client negotiates down to NT1 instead of up to SMB3_11, doesn't happen with Windows 10 client
Julian Alarcon, this report is scoped only to not getting maximum negotiation upon a successful connection, not your problem of it won't connect at all. However, given the security implications of using NT1, the original premise of this report isn't valid, and is no longer of use to me as the original reporter. Hence, if you have a problem file a new report (not status toggle this one). ** Changed in: samba (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid ** Changed in: samba (Ubuntu) Importance: High => Undecided -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1598463 Title: samba client negotiates down to NT1 instead of up to SMB3_11, doesn't happen with Windows 10 client To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+bug/1598463/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Greetings! Look what I've just found! Have you already seen that great stuff? Check it out http://bit.do/dEMKc All best, Colin Redman From: Bug 41301 [mailto:41...@bugs.launchpad.net] Sent: Friday, August 04, 2017 4:30 PM To: band...@fortytwo.gr Subject: They look like men. Well, I suspect that the trailer is not a true 1700 Lbs rated trailer. A trailer rating has to have some safety factor - Google says that is 1.8 for small trailers. Another aspect, the 1700 Lb rating, might be the fully loaded weight, so if the empty trailer is 500 pounds, the allowed load is 1200 pounds? [Bug 1703662] Re: [MIR] rhythmbox-plugin-alternative-toolbar
I'm a bit concerned with the way this is packaged. Why is it necessary to remove the LICENSE file, for instance? This is no the only source to ship one; it should probably remain and live with the rest of the documentation (such as with copyright). The right way to fix this would obviously be upstream, and since the upstream is also packaging for Debian and Ubuntu, this should be a simple fix. There are also extra postinst, prerm files which I expect should not be needed. Again, this is not the first python package, isn't python3 already doing all that is necessary? Building the package should be done when the package is being built, not when it is installed or removed. There is a relevant warning in the build logs: E: dh_python3 dh_python3:173: no package to act on (python3-foo or one with ${python3:Depends} in Depends) Finally, nothing currently Depends/Recommends rhythmbox-plugin- alternative-toolbar. This means it would not stay in main if promoted. Please fix for the above. I see no other issues with this package. ** Changed in: rhythmbox-plugin-alternative-toolbar (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1703662 Title: [MIR] rhythmbox-plugin-alternative-toolbar To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox-plugin-alternative-toolbar/+bug/1703662/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1708740] Re: udevil mounts ignoring 'noauto' in /etc/fstab'
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find. ** Information type changed from Private Security to Public -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1708740 Title: udevil mounts ignoring 'noauto' in /etc/fstab' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/udevil/+bug/1708740/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1671974] Re: cups-browsed Generates Excessive Amounts of UDP Multicast Traffic for BJNP
Do you have the cups-bjnp package installed? It provides the "bjnp" CUPS backend to use Canon BJNP network printers (not USB printers). It communicates with the printer on port 8611 in both directions. The package contains the "bjnp" CUPS backend as the only non- documentation file. This backend is only executed by CUPS when looking for printers available for setup ("lpinfo -v" or equivalent IPP request) where each backend is called once without arguments and when a job is sent to a queue using this backend. cups-browsed does not trigger any of these actions. Do you have any proprietary printer driver software from Canon installed? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1671974 Title: cups-browsed Generates Excessive Amounts of UDP Multicast Traffic for BJNP To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups-filters/+bug/1671974/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1671974] Re: cups-browsed Generates Excessive Amounts of UDP Multicast Traffic for BJNP
cups-browsed does not directly interact with USB printers and is not triggered by USB events. Do you have any special software to support Canon printers (Canon MFNP, Canon BJNP) installed? Does this software mirror USB printers to emulated network printers? Does it do this mirroring also if no supported printer is present? Is there any way to easily reproduce this bug? Can you please attach your /etc/cups/cups-browsed.conf file? Does avahi-discover show any suspect (Canon MFNP/BJNP) printers under IPP/_ipps/Internet Printer? Please also attach your /var/log/cups/cups-browsed_log if you have one. Please do not compress your attachments and do not package them together, attach them one-by-one. Thanks. ** Changed in: cups-filters (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1671974 Title: cups-browsed Generates Excessive Amounts of UDP Multicast Traffic for BJNP To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups-filters/+bug/1671974/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
