The problem I'm hitting is that instance.host is not updated when the compute driver is called to spawn the instance on the destination host. It is still set to the source host. It's not until after the spawn completes that the compute manager updates instance.host to reflect the destination host. The nova-powervm driver uses instance events callback mechanism during plug VIF to determine when Neutron has finished provisioning the network. The instance events code sends the event to instance.host and hence is sending the event to the source host (which is down). This causes the spawn to fail and also causes weirdness when the source host gets the events when it's powered back up. To temporarily work around the problem, I hacked in setting instance.host = CONF.host; instance.save() in the compute driver but that's not a good solution. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1535918 Title: instance.host not updated on evacuation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-archive/+bug/1535918/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1470056] ☢Re: wow that is so excellent!
Hi, Look what I've just found on the web! It's so amazing, check it out http://iconis.ru/forth_n.php?9e9f Yours faithfully, Krystal Paige From: Bug 1470056 [mailto:1470...@bugs.launchpad.net] Sent: Thursday, August 17, 2017 9:45 PM To: m.teyss...@thecodingmachine.com Subject: It is. Rifle: All-American (if uniques are allowed). Scoped and very accurate, but has a high rate of fire and magazine capacity, making it reasonable if something manages to sneak up on me. 5.56mm ammo is absolutely everywhere, so I should be able to pick up enough to keep going. Pistol: A Light Shining In Darkness. If I'm in a position where I reach for a pistol I need to put out a lot of hurt very quickly. .45 is also fairly light and inexpensive, and sold at most vendors. I'll have to buy/craft all my ammo, but for a secondary that's okay. Melee: Chances knife. Something small and light that can be used for more than just killing. Armor: Desert ranger combat armor, park ranger hat and authority glasses. Something to keep the sun and dust (bullets too) off me. [Bug 1711483] [NEW] Crackling sound after resuming from suspend
Public bug reported: PulseAudio exhibits abnormal behavior after resuming from suspend: Crackling sound present during HTML5 video playback in browsers (Chromium, Firefox, Chrome). I tried adding tsched=0 to load-module module-udev-detect in /etc/pulse/default.pa, and it didn't work. I slightly increased fragment number and size in /etc/pulse/daemon.conf, didn't work either. Before suspending, multiple sound sources can be handled without problems nor audible noise. [Bug 1710513] Re: Wi-fi automatically disconnects
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures. You should at least provide informations about the Ubuntu version and and desktop environment you are using ** Changed in: gnome-software (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: gnome-software (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1710513 Title: Wi-fi automatically disconnects To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/1710513/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1711474] [NEW] graphical session and network not start up due to root FS being mounted read-only
Public bug reported: Kubuntu 17.10, fresh install $ systemctl --version systemd 233 Graphical session (sddm.service), systemd-resolved.service and NetworkManager.service are not loaded due to system root being mounted read-only $ journalctl -b0 авг 18 01:27:45 Kseniya-Desktop kernel: Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/@/boot/vmlinuz-4.12.0-11-generic root=UUID=87e60ca5-1b9f-4790-8b9e-6394b9d0a40e ro rootflags=subvol=@ This is the default kernel command line, ro means that the root filesystem must be mounted read-only, then fsck is believed to be permormed, after what the FS must be remounted rw (read-write) But in my system (Ubuntu 17.10) the /home is mouned rw, but the root is still ro. I added to /etc/default/grub: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="rw" Now my kernel command line is: авг 18 01:27:45 Kseniya-Desktop kernel: Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/@/boot/vmlinuz-4.12.0-11-generic root=UUID=87e60ca5-1b9f-4790-8b9e-6394b9d0a40e ro rootflags=subvol=@ rw No the root fs is mounted rw and sddm.service starts the graphical session automatically. BUT: NetworkManager.service is not started automatically and should be started manually (sudo systemctl start NetworkManager) Due to network offline, network fileshares are not mounted. I also noticed that there is no dependency from fsck in -.mount, but there is in home.mount $ cat /etc/fstab # /etc/fstab: static file system information. # # Use 'blkid' to print the universally unique identifier for a # device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices # that works even if disks are added and removed.
