[Bug 1711337] Re: Firefox crashes at start on armv7L after 55.0.1 update
But there is a big hope the build for trusty with "-march=armv7-a -mfloat-abi=hard -mfpu=vfpv3-d16" will not crash .Builing on xenial did nto worked but a build in trusty have great chances to work . -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1711337 Title: Firefox crashes at start on armv7L after 55.0.1 update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefox/+bug/1711337/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1711337] Re: Firefox crashes at start on armv7L after 55.0.1 update
Ok , I did not tried firefox 59 but my firefox 58.02armhf build with this options "-march=armv7-a -mfloat-abi=hard -mfpu=vfpv3-d16" was compiled fine by gcc under Ubuntu 16.04 and there was still a crash . You can read the crah cause I post earlier . Is not the skia crash , is another one that happens before it reach skia . So just compiling with "-march=armv7-a -mfloat-abi=hard -mfpu=vfpv3-d16" may not be sufficient, at lest for me was not .

[Bug 1752733] Re: xiterm+thai is installed and set to x-terminal-emulator
So the reason this was pulled in is because the Debian maintainer adjusted the update-alternatives priority from 40 to 20 for the change to 11.8.3, which now states "They should also register themselves as an alternative for /usr/bin/x-terminal-emulator, with a priority of 20." The Debian Policy manual defines the usage of "should" as the following: "Non-conformance with guidelines denoted by should (or recommended) will generally be considered a bug, but will not necessarily render a package unsuitable for distribution." Other options can be explored, but the best option at this time in my opinion is to go against the recommended value and revert back to 40. This will make lxterminal the default again. As to why xiterm+thai is installed is irrelevant. I have no clue. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1752733 Title: xiterm+thai is installed and set to x-terminal-emulator To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lubuntu-meta/+bug/1752733/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 1574278] Re: AbiWord text cursor starts to flicker after adding some text
Thanks for the offer. Sorry, I don't have a backport of my patch for abiword 3.0.1, and haven't estimated the effort. Would you consider moving Xenial to abiword 3.0.2? At One Laptop per Child for our derivative build of Ubuntu with the Sugar desktop, we've worked around the flickering by setting GTK_THEME to adwaita in the package sugar-write-activity. This perturbs the timing just enough to prevent the problem on our supported hardware. For our upcoming Bionic build, the abiword 3.0.2-6 package doesn't show the problem. -- James Cameron http://quozl.netrek.org/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1574278 Title: AbiWord text cursor starts to flicker after adding some text To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/abiword/+bug/1574278/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Without a backup, this means data loss, and it also means + a non-working Akregator. + + [Test Case] + + 1. Launch Akregator and create a handful of feeds. + 2. Restart Akregator several times. + + Nothing should happen, but it will crash sometimes. + + [Regression Potential] + + Little to none. [Bug 1756767] [NEW] It crashed during installation. Could not install GRUB
Public bug reported: This is a Windows 10 running in one hard drive and Ubuntu being installed in another. I thought I wouldn't even need GRUB, I would just choose which HD to start with.
