[Bug 1757388] Re: bridge device is missing
I've installed a new Ubuntu 18.04 system with the bridge-utils on 2018-03-27, based on mini.iso, located here: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/bionic/main/installer-amd64/current/images/netboot/mini.iso (ISO file release date 2018-03-15). The difference of my workstation installation before (Mate system), I used the KDE Plasma desktop now. The script located in the attachment shows the installation flow of my favourite system. Now the bridge is working. I don't know the actual background of this behavior why this didn't work before. Maybe there's another (or a new) package which handles the bridge interface control additionally. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1757388 Title: bridge device is missing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bridge-utils/+bug/1757388/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1758636] Re: openjdk-10 and -11 should only be released in the 18.04 LTS updates pocket
The *binary* package names are default-jre*, default-jdk* and so on. Packages should not depend on particular openjdk versions anyway. I am more concerned to change a packaging schema having the major in the binary name for more than a decade just a few weeks before an LTS release. So no, I don't think that having the binary name change changed that short before release makes any sense. With the proposal here you have binary packages with the expected name in the release (either in the release pocket for 8 and 9), or in the updates pocket (10 and 11). In the end the 10 packages can go away because we are able to remove them from the updates pocket. The 9 binary packages are not built from source anymore, and could be replaced by dummy (empty) packages in the updates pocket. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1758636 Title: openjdk-10 and -11 should only be released in the 18.04 LTS updates pocket To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openjdk-10/+bug/1758636/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1756092] Re: Screen freeze for some time when unlocking
Please: (1) Only use the ubuntu-bug command to upload crash files: ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_usr_bin_Xwayland.1000.crash Attaching crash files to existing bugs doesn't help us, and is a security risk for you. (2) Update your system today, as an important fix to apport was released today to help us stop *losing* crash files that should be created from gnome-shell. (3) Reboot and reproduce the issue, then run ubuntu-bug on any crash files you find.
