[Bug 1783129] Re: Only "main" component enabled after install
There are several things I don't understand here. One of them is what changed after June 10. The sources.list you pasted was clearly generated by cloud-init, not by livecd-rootfs or subiquity or curtin or anything else. So for some reason, on June 10, cloud-init rewrote sources.list either when the ISO booted or when the installed system booted. Another thing I don't understand is why this breaks the daily install test for cosmic only; only main is enabled in bionic too but the tests pass there. Have some of utah's deps dropped out to universe in cosmic? A final thing I don't understand is how to fix this. I think we need to set PREINSTALLED=true during the livefs build's config step, but I don't know what other consequences this would have. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1783129 Title: Only "main" component enabled after install To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/subiquity/+bug/1783129/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1787194] [NEW] On inserting page numbers, instructions are disobeyed
You have been subscribed to a public bug: 1- In UBUNTU 18.04,inserting page numbers does not work. I selected: insert- field - more fields, then selected "Page" in the "Type" list under the document tab, following I selected "next page" in the select list. Then, whatever I select from the format list I Just get the last selection printed in the field of page number The last selection was "next page", thus I got these words printed but no page numbers. I don't receive error messages. I still have Windows10 , on my lab but I rarely use it. I an stopping windows update. Meanwhile, I get UBUNTU regular updates and currently my UBUNTU soft ware is up to date. 2- In printing any document, I must put the printer off first choose what is to print and click OK then starting the printer. In the meantime, only one job is printed after all this. Normally the first clicked job. I have "Printer" and "Printer settings" software. Here also I don't receive error messages. ** Affects: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- On inserting page numbers, instructions are disobeyed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1787194 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1787304] [NEW] HP Bluetooth Printer Pairs but Stays Disconnected
Public bug reported: I have an HP Deskjet 460 with BT module. This printer was working via Bluetooth in Ubuntu 16.04, but now fails to connect in Ubuntu 18.04. In Ubuntu 16.04 I was able to use this doc to setup the printer: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BluetoothPrinterSetup. In 18.04 I can remove the device using the Settings->Bluetooth UI. Then the Deskjet 460 S/N XXX appears as "Not Set Up". Then I can double- click on the device, and it briefly shows "Connected", then "Disconnected". Now the device is in the Settings->Bluetooth UI, and when I double click the device it shows "Connection Off", Paired Yes, Type Printer, and the MAC address. I'm unable to change the "Connection Off" setting via the UI. >From bluetoothctl: > remove 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 [DEL] Device 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 Deskjet 460 S/N XX Device has been removed [NEW] Device 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 Deskjet 460 S/N XX > trust 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 [CHG] Device 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 Trusted: yes Changing 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 trust succeeded > pair 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 Attempting to pair with 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 [CHG] Device 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 Connected: yes [CHG] Device 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 UUIDs: 1101--1000-8000-00805f9b34fb [CHG] Device 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 UUIDs: 1105--1000-8000-00805f9b34fb [CHG] Device 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 UUIDs: 111b--1000-8000-00805f9b34fb [CHG] Device 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 UUIDs: 1123--1000-8000-00805f9b34fb [CHG] Device 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 UUIDs: 1126--1000-8000-00805f9b34fb [CHG] Device 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 ServicesResolved: yes [CHG] Device 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 Paired: yes Pairing successful [CHG] Device 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 ServicesResolved: no [CHG] Device 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 Connected: no > connect 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 Attempting to connect to 00:0C:78:51:44:D6 Failed to connect: org.bluez.Error.Failed dmesg -w from the above bluetoothctl session: [47676.543096] Bluetooth: hci0: last event is not cmd complete (0x0f) [47692.543107] Bluetooth: hci0: last event is not cmd complete (0x0f) [47711.542175] Bluetooth: hci0: last event is not cmd complete (0x0f) [47727.544169] Bluetooth: hci0: last event is not cmd complete (0x0f) Machine: ASUS_GL551JM. [Bug 1787258] Re: 3.13.0-155.205 Kernel Panic - divide by zero
@tyhicks, I've tested your kernel from comment #7. 1. Launch 2 VMs in us-west-2 with ami-4218403a (20180722, the serial prior to the latest) 2. Upgrade the first VM to the kernel in -updates, reboot, and observe the panic in the console log 3. On the 2nd VM, install the linux-image and linux-headers packages from the link in comment #7 and reboot SUCCESS * Observed "[0.156060] smpboot: x86_max_cores == zero !?!?" in dmesg * I rebooted a few times just to satisfy myself. 4. Ensure this VM does panic by removing tyhicks' kernel, upgrading the stock kernel, and rebooting. [Bug 1787191] Re: Crash due to BUG: Bad page map in process X & BUG: Bad rss-counter state X
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1787127 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1787127 I have 4 similar trusty virtual machines 3.13.0-155 running on the same hyper-v 12r2 host on intel e5s. Three of the four were rebooted after the 155 kernel without issue (so far). The four were built from the same base install, however they have diverged in config for the last ~4 years. One is exhibiting the described behavior in the op, after reboot followed by bad maps for various things running (clamd, apache, mysql, etc).
