I know this got marked as 'invalid' but I'm experiencing this now on 18.10 with this driver after updating to 18.0.4.1 (I was not experiencing it previously). It doesn't take a suspend for me. I can be actively using the system and have the issue arise. Kernal: Ubuntu 4.18.0-10.11-generic 4.18.12 Oddly enough it's only when I'm connected to my home network. I've been on two other networks without issue. Not working (Home): 5gHz Linksys WRT 1200 AC Other working networks: Nighthawk Router WiFi Tether on my mobile device It seems to be inconsistent for me as well. Usually, if I catch it early enough, I can simply turn off the WiFi and turn it back on and things resolve out. [Bug 1778361] Re: The Processes tab only displays the current user's processes
Yeah, installed from the deb it doesn't have this behavior. The UI wants to show whatever state it was in when it started, so I think the dconf setting is getting set. For example, if I tick "All processes" when just the user processes are listed, I briefly see all processes then it reverts back. The "All processes" radio item is still ticked though. If I restart gnome-system-monitor it will display all processes properly. If I think tick "My processes" I briefly only see my processes then it reverts back to all until restarting the app again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1778361 Title: The Processes tab only displays the current user's processes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-system-monitor/+bug/1778361/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1799430] Re: Icon dock visible on lock screen
Same problem after upgrade from 18.04 to 18.10. However, the whole screen is visible when manually locking the screen (ctrl + alt + L in my case). All programs are minimized when locking manually/or resuming from suspend and the screen goes slightly blurry, but not enough to distort text for instance. I.e., i can see everything. The exact same thing happens after suspend (lid closing/opening). Also I can actually close programs by right clicking icons and access the dock menu as well as the top bar menu (e.g., se wifi info, click on settings panel etc). Noticed that if i do ctrl + alt + L followed by a second ctrl + alt + L after a short wait period - then the correct lock screen appears. I have lock enabled after 5 minutes and suspend. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures. At a minimum, we need: 1. The specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem. 2. The behavior you expected. 3. The behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible). Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It sounds like some part of the system has crashed. To help us find the cause of the crash please follow these steps: 1. Look in /var/crash for crash files and if found run: ubuntu-bug YOURFILE.crash Then tell us the ID of the newly-created bug. 2. If step 1 failed then look at https://errors.ubuntu.com/user/ID where ID is the content of file /var/lib/whoopsie/whoopsie-id on the machine. Do you find any links to recent problems on that page? If so then please send the links to us. 3. If step 2 also failed then apply the workaround from bug 994921, reboot, reproduce the crash, and retry step 1. Please take care to avoid attaching .crash files to bugs as we are unable to process them as file attachments. It would also be a security risk for yourself. ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1799672 Title: system freeze / segfault at 0 […] error 4 in libmozjs-60.so.0.0.0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1799672/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
