The 63bit dma_mask was just a test to understand the adress-wraparound by the
fw. Nothing specific.
PERC didn't go offline. Always ended up with OOM btw.

I can't reproduce this. I have selected and changed the value of the
mount point to so many different things and no matter if I hit enter or
OK, or hit tab first or not, it still results in the appropriate mount
point being shown in the mount point column.

[Bug 1743027] Re: error loading realtime clock since upgrading to 17.10

2018-11-01 Thread Lawrence Houston
Within the 4 computer I have running Ubuntu, only one, my Toshiba
Satellite Laptop with the current 4.15 Kernels available from the Ubuntu
16.04.5 and 18.04.1 Repositories fails to create the /dev/rtc device...
NOTE: The 3 other Ubuntu Machine are not effected by this
CONFIG_WDAT_WDT Bug...

Downgrading to the current Generic 4.4 Kernel from the Ubuntu 16.04.5
Repository is one Solution...

Another Solution is the 4.18 Kernel currently available from Ubuntu the
18.10 Repository!!!

Can you please try uninstalling the Nvidia driver (for a moment),

let us know if that also avoids the 100% CPU problem?

I am wondering if the problem is unique to the Nvidia driver.

[Bug 1769420] Re: missing mimeapps.list for cosmic

2018-11-01 Thread Walter Lapchynski
Confirmed. FWIW, it seems that defaults.list (which is not mentioned in
the XDG spec and I think may be a GNOMEish sort of thing) is the
culprit, but it's easily overridden:

https://specifications.freedesktop.org/mime-apps-
spec/latest/ar01s02.html

However, if you use lxqt-config-file-associations, it's waaay easier.

[Bug 1769420] Re: Odd lxqt-config-file-associations for .jpg and .pdf

2018-11-01 Thread Walter Lapchynski
** Tags removed: bionic
** Tags added: cosmic

** Package changed: lxqt-config (Ubuntu) => lubuntu-default-settings
(Ubuntu)

** Changed in: lubuntu-default-settings (Ubuntu)
   Status: Expired => Triaged

** Summary changed:

- Odd lxqt-config-file-associations for .jpg and .pdf
+ missing defaults.list for cosmic

** Description changed:

- I have Lubuntu Next 18.04
-
- I do not know if the Lubuntu team modifies the file associations to match the
release,
- or if the file associations are an LXQt default and are left intact until the
user
- installs the Distro and modifies them.
- I don't even know if the associations are modified if one installs (or
removes) an application package.
- Therefore, I don't know if this is the right place to report this or not.
-
- At some point after I installed Lubuntu Next, and some favorite
- applications to supplement or replace those in the default install, I
- noticed some strange file associations...
-
- A .pdf file currently is associated with LibreOffice Draw (which is unable to
open it, and reports "This PDF file is encrypted and can't be opened. ")
- I would have expected an association with qpdfview (which opens the file just
fine, as expected).
-
- Although I have since apparently fixed it, .jpg files were associated with
Firefox.
- Since Firefox was not originally installed, I might guess that the
association was with a generic browser, which originally pointed to Falkon, but
which the installation of Firefox then switched to that browser.
- In any event, I might have expected an association with LXImage, as that is
LXQt's image viewer.
-
- [There also was some weird association with e-book-viewer(or -editor), but I
negligently managed not to write that down. It either was .txt or .odt]

+ Previous to 18.10, there was an extensive defaults.list provided in
+ lubuntu-default-settings. In lieu of this, the one from default-file-
+ utils in /usr/share/applications takes precedence and it has many
+ inappropriate settings for Lubuntu. We ship /etc/xdg/xdg-
+ Lubuntu/mimeapps.list but it is nowhere near complete. Consistent with
+ the current XDG spec, we should probably use mimeapps.list.

This is a bug in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

The application Regina (installed through the package regina-normal)
will not start.

The problem seems to be that it is linked against the graphviz plugins,
which moved location (thus the executable can no longer find the
libraries that it links against). The fix is simply to rebuild regina-
normal, with no changes needed to the source.

To reproduce:

- Install the package regina-normal;
- At a command line, type "regina-gui".

The application crashes with the message: "regina-gui: error while
loading shared libraries: libgvplugin_core.so.6: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory"

Rebuilding regina-normal against the current Ubuntu 18.04 LTS causes the
executable to be linked correctly, and the problem is fixed.

This problem does *not* affect Ubuntu 18.10. It is only present in
Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

I would be grateful if someone could please rebuild regina-normal on
18.04 and upload this to bionic-updates, and/or include the rebuild in
the next point release (I presume 18.04.2).

Thanks - Ben.

Correct.. I ould like to give it some more time to see if it doesn't
happen. So far so good, no lockups. I hadnt have to restart any server
in a week and a half.

I'll try to prepare the same setup on another server with zram-config to
see if it happens again on that particular server

In order for us to properly deal with these bugs, you will need to file

Otherwise it's all just a difficult mess to deal with. No further action

[Bug 1801232] [NEW] Ubuntu MATE crashes when too many external USB drives are mounted.

2018-11-01 Thread Robert Pearson
Public bug reported:

I had the following drives mounted:
/media/robert/Shared - a second partition of the first internal hard drive with
an NTFS
/media/robert/4TB LaCie - an external USB 3 drive with an NTFS
/media/robert/4TB G-Drive - an external USB 3 drive with an NTFS
/media/robert/4TB Seagate 1 - an external USB 3 drive with an NTFS file system
/media/robert/4TB Seagate 2 - an external USB 3 drive with an NTFS file system
/media/robert/4TB Seagate 3 - an external USB 3 drive with an HFS+ file system
/media/robert/4TB Seagate 5 - an external USB 3 drive with an NTFS file system
/media/robert/5TB Seagate 1 - an external USB 3 drive with an ext4 file system

Detected but not mounted were:
Win10 - a partition on my second hard drive with an NTFS file system
U MATE 14 - a partition on my second hard drive with an ext4 file system
Windows10 - a partition on my second hard drive with an NTFS file system
701 GB Volume - a partition on my second hard drive with an ext4 file system
83 GB Volume - a partition on my second hard drive with an ext4 file system

Also attached but not detected is a 6TB Seagate USB 3 drive.

The HFS+ files system was using hfs package.

I was copying files from a directory in 4TB Seagate 3 to 4TB Seagate 1
using the Terminal cp -anR command. Once all the files had been copied I
intended to reformat the drive with a NTFS file system.

I was using VueScan and it began misbehaving after I had deleted and
renamed some directories with CAJA. I exited VueScan and tried to
restart it. The initial splash screen displayed, then the program hang.
I tried it again. Same results.

I aborted the terminal copy and did a system shutdown. I saw the Ubuntu
shutdown screen. I waited, and waited. I went to bed. After 8 hours the
shutdown screen was still being displayed. I had to turn the power off.
Then I disconnected most of the external drives. I turned power back on
and rebooted.

The 6TB drive did appear and was mounted. I had to disconnect-reconnect
the 4TB Seagate 3 (HFS+ file system) a number of times and reboot before
it would mount.

VueScan started properly and works fine. It had been working properly
before - the error was that Caja would not show the newly scanned files
that VueScan produced. After restarting Ubuntu they showed up proving
that VueScan was not at fault.

Caja is complaining when I try to delete files - see attachment,

Found a workaround: Enter the username and password as part of the URL
when adding the source. That is:

This isn't really acceptable, as it means the password is plainly

[Bug 1801227] [NEW] smbc_opendir returns EEXIST if login credentials are incorrect, breaking SMB shares in Kodi

2018-11-01 Thread Ben A
Public bug reported:

In Kodi, try to add a smb:// URL for a share that doesn't allow guest
logins and you'll get a cryptic "File Exists" error. It never asks for
login credentials. From online searching, this is most likely due to a
bug in libsmbclient where smbc_opendir will return EEXIST instead of a
more appropriate error code if invalid login credentials were provided.

This was fixed in Samba 4.8:

https://github.com/samba-
team/samba/commit/7470b9b18af282a742929d3fc90f4be5520428a1

But 18.04 is shipping 4.7.

Trying to add a share where the hostname doesn't resolve results in some
cryptic messages as well, but that may or may not be a different bug.

[Bug 1801225] [NEW] cmake files are misplaced

2018-11-01 Thread Seth Arnold
Public bug reported:

While reading about bpftrace I discovered that the Ubuntu LLVM or Clang
packaging is apparently not quite correct:

https://github.com/iovisor/bpftrace/issues/76

Thus the install instructions for bpftrace includes adding apt.llvm.org's key
to the APT trusted keys:
https://github.com/iovisor/bpftrace/blob/master/INSTALL.md

I tried the instructions myself (skipping the LLVM repository) on my
18.04 LTS host, with both llvm-5.0 and llvm-6.0 packages, and got
similar results:

sarnold@hunt:~/trees/bpftrace/build$ aa-exec -p untrusted-compile cmake
-Wno-dev -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=DEBUG -DLLVM_DIR=/usr/lib/llvm-6.0/lib/cmake/llvm/
-DClang_DIR=/usr/share/llvm-6.0/cmake/ ..

[Bug 1801203] Re: Several minor issues with the Cosmic release version

2018-11-01 Thread Scott Cowles Jacobs
>In particular, #2 makes me question what image you're using. Sounds
like an old one.

I just today downloaded the released Lubuntu 18.10, placed it on a USB
thumb drive, and booted from it. There on the desktop was the install
icon, which when double-clicked upon, yielded the stated window...

I will at some point, boot into the installed 18.10 and individually ubuntu-bug
the various issues above.
(I have to "live" in 17.10, as no later version can install the nvidia-304
driver, which nvidia has retired. Sooner or later in a session, nouveau
screen-crashes on me, and I must reboot...
I'll have to get a new computer. If nouveau crashes on IT, I can at least
install a non-retired nvidia driver... I wonder if AMD radeon drivers are any
less likely to give me problems (I don't do video games, or anything fancy,
although I was thinking of getting a 4k/UHD TV to double as a monitor...))

Is calamares present on the installed 18.10, or is it removed as no longer
being necessary?
If so, I would have to boot from the USB thumb drive, and ubuntu-bug from the
live-session...
Would that even work...?

[Bug 1766872] Re: 'Enable Network' in recovery mode not working properly.

2018-11-01 Thread Cory F. Cohen
With friendly-recovery version 0.2.38ubuntu1, selecting the check
filesystems option results in an error message like:

/etc/default/rcS: file or directory not found

This file does not exist on my system. I don't know if the problem I'm

another bug that was marked as a duplicate of this one (1767685).

[Bug 1799007] Re: [System76 Oryx Pro] no sound after 18.10 upgrade

2018-11-01 Thread Daniel van Vugt
1. Can you please confirm where you are looking when you say "it no
longer shows any of the audio output devices"? Are you looking in
Settings > Sound > Output ?

2. Can you please try booting Ubuntu from USB:
   http://releases.ubuntu.com/18.10/
and tell us if the problem still occurs in the live USB session?

[Bug 1800899] Re: Line out and headphones audio output keep swithing causing crackles in sound

2018-11-01 Thread Daniel van Vugt
Thanks.

It sounds like there is a bad connection in the port on the back panel.
That would explain both crackling and flickering settings. The
flickering would be Ubuntu quickly detecting spurious insertion/removal
or connection/disconnection of the headphones. So this sounds like a
hardware problem with that port.

[Bug 1801110] Re: gnome-shell crashes ending session upon DP monitor switch-away

2018-11-01 Thread Daniel van Vugt
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. It sounds like some part of the system has crashed. To
help us find the cause of the crash please follow these steps:

1. Look in /var/crash for crash files and if found run:
ubuntu-bug YOURFILE.crash
Then tell us the ID of the newly-created bug.

2. If step 1 failed then look at https://errors.ubuntu.com/user/ID where
ID is the content of file /var/lib/whoopsie/whoopsie-id on the machine.
Do you find any links to recent problems on that page? If so then please
send the links to us.

3. If step 2 also failed then apply the workaround from bug 994921,
reboot, reproduce the crash, and retry step 1.

Please take care to avoid attaching .crash files to bugs as we are
unable to process them as file attachments. It would also be a security
risk for yourself.

[Bug 1801210] [NEW] File Manager defaults to displaying files/directories in reverse order

2018-11-01 Thread Scott Cowles Jacobs
Public bug reported:

In doing testing for other bugs related to this package, I have noted
that this file manager defaults to displaying files/directories in
reverse order (Z->A,  9->1, etc.)

I don't know if this is a bug, or a design decision, but it seems
counter-intuitive to me...

I just installed the release version of Lubuntu 18.10 (but am not using it at
the moment),
and whatever exact version of pcmanfm-qt that is included in that release is
what I most recently tried.

Naturally, the situation is easily remedied, but think of the first-time
user, running the program and finding everything (as it seems to
him/her) backwards...

[NB: any system-related info that is printed below or is attached, will not be
the version I was testing.
I could not figure out how to report a bug without running ubuntu-bug,
and it naturally reported the environment in which it was running, not
the environment where I most recently noted the bug. If the bug existed in
17.10, I long ago altered the display order not to be reversed...]

[Bug 1783873] Re: auto-type user and password not working (too fast?)

2018-11-01 Thread Christophe Perrot
Thanks Dominik for your comment.

I don't know if it has something to do with timing issues, but before
the update to Debian Stretch (which ships the same xdotool as Ubuntu
18.04, in comment #3 I wrongly cited "Jessie", I was talking about
"Stretch" ), I was not having these problems.

Changing my shortcut (CTRL-ALT-A) to '/usr/bin/setxkbmap fr oss; mono
/usr/lib/keepass2/KeePass.exe --auto-type' seemed to do the trick for 'Perform
auto-type' (CTRL-V) but was not working for my global auto-type CTRL-ALT-A (it
seemed not to do anything). Perhaps because I don't know how t correctly
specify a keyboard shortcut with more than 1 command in Gnome shell.
As a workaround, I made a shell script with these 2 commands (setxkbmap and
mono) and now I call this script with CTRL-ALT-A. 'Perform auto-type' (CTRL-V)
as well as Global auto-type (CTRL-ALT-A) now seem to work flawlessly (at least
it has been the case for several days now).
So I really suspect the problem has something to do with the management of
keyboards when more than 1 is set in Gnome.

@Dominik : do you have more than 1 keyboard layout set as input ?

[Bug 1769420] Re: Odd lxqt-config-file-associations for .jpg and .pdf

2018-11-01 Thread Scott Cowles Jacobs
I have now installed the release version of Lubuntu Cosmic 18.10.

I have not tested the multitude of file-associations that I did before,
as I was testing a different bug, but I will note in passing that when
I tried to display a .png file by double-clicking on it, it brought up Firefox,
not LXImage...
(I think that is the released image-viewer. I am using my usual LN 17.10,
as it is the last version in which I can use the now-retired nvidia-304, which
I must use, as
nouveau often screen-crashes (diagonal lines of garbage) when I attempt to use
it...)

[Bug 1801202] Re: Xorg freeze

2018-11-01 Thread Cristian Aravena Romero
Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a
prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v4.19 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as
"Confirmed".

Thanks in advance.

[Bug 1801203] [NEW] Several minor issues with the Cosmic release version

2018-11-01 Thread Scott Cowles Jacobs
Public bug reported:

{If each of these should be reported separately, let me know. It seems
a bit of a waste, though...}

1. Both "Install Lubuntu 18.10" and
 "Install System"
appear in the System menu of the Live session.

2. Double-clicking on the "Install Lubuntu 18.10" icon on the desktop results
in
the Window "Execute File" appearing, and it asks what we want to do with
"...what seems to be a desktop entry". The options "Open", "Execute", and
"Cancel" appear (with "Execute" highlighted).
I suppose I should have figured "Execute" was the right option, but one
normally "Open"s an application, so I tried that first... Nope.

3. When the "System Language" and "...Locale" are displayed,
"UnitedStates" contains no space.

4. After manually selecting partitions for installation, the overview summary
window is so tall that only the top of the buttons "Back", "Install", and
"Cancel" are visible.
I had to click on the window's Maximize button to see the whole button.
(I think I remember a later window having the same problem. but am not sure...)

5. I don't use my Windows partition, except once in a while raiding files from
it, so I do
not boot from it. When I saw "boot" checked, amongst various other flags, I
unchecked it
(I probably didn't need to - I don't know what all those flags do, anyway...)
On the overview summary, "Clear all flags for /dev/sda2" (or similar wording)
appeared 3 times.
I only unchecked one flag (only one was checked), so why the line was repeated
three times, I don't know...

[Bug 1801189] Re: After upgrade from 18.04 to 18.10 no hosts are resolved from DNS configured in VPN connection

2018-11-01 Thread Ubuntu Foundations Team Bug Bot
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a
specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu
in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source
packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs
about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your
bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage.
You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1801189/+editstatus and add the
package name in the text box next to the word Package.

[This is an automated message. I apologize if it reached you
inappropriately; please just reply to this message indicating so.]

[Bug 1768961] Re: xdg user-dirs not being read/stored correctly for desktop icon in left panel

2018-11-01 Thread Scott Cowles Jacobs
Here are the terminal commands that I saw in your screenshot,
plus output from inxi, which is similar to what produced your system output.

I had to modify the ls command for /data, as the recursive output would
have reached the nearest star and back...

[By the way, I was surprised to find the group name listed for the ls output
was "sambashare".

I have no idea what it is, have never seen it before, and certainly did
not set it.

Is this a bug?
Is this something I can "fix", or need to...?
I guess it is not anything that actually changed, since in 17.10, which I still
use, it says:
"scott scott", not "scott sambashare" .. .]

Is there any chance to reactivate that topic? I have the same issue on a fresh

After 5 minutes the tray icon (nm-tray) only shows the current wifi connection

[Bug 1768961] Re: xdg user-dirs not being read/stored correctly for desktop icon in left panel

2018-11-01 Thread Scott Cowles Jacobs
OK.

I have now installed the released 18.10 version of Lubuntu, and have
exactly the same problem as before...

1. Install Lubuntu 18.10
2. Reboot
3. Edit /home/scott/.config/user-dirs.dirs to point the standard xdg
directories to
directories in my /data/scott directory
4. Log out/Log in
5. PCManFM-qt shows the (for me) usual mangled reference for Desktop when the
left pane button is clicked upon. I will attach a screenshot of PCManFM-qt and
its error message.

I have run all of the commands that you showed in your .png screenshot
(which, when double-clicked upon brings up Firefox, not LXImage...),
and cut/pasted them into a text file, which I will attach.

[By the way... I first attempted to change the user dirs by using
Preferences-->LXQt Settings-->Session Settings - User Directories
to change just Desktop and Downloads (as a test) but upon clicking on "Close",
An error window pops up saying that: "An error occurred when applying the
settings for the
Desktop location" When "OK" was clicked, the same error came up for
"Downloads".
I checked the user-dirs.dirs file (in case the file was changed despite
the error messages), and it was unchanged.

I don't know if the two problems are related, but if you can identify the
package
that I should "ubuntu-bug", I will do so. After changing the user-dirs.dirs
file manually and
logging out and then in again, the session settings still showed the /home/scott
location as before, not /data/scott ...]

[Bug 1801198] [NEW] missing scripts, no documentation

2018-11-01 Thread paul chubb
Public bug reported:

In an extensive search I only found documentation for red hat/fedora
versions of linux. The documentation by the maintainers of the software
is also red hat specific. It uses a series of scripts eg setup-ds.pl to
configure the software that are not installed when the ubuntu packages:
dogtag-pki and 389-ds-base are installed.

So several possible cases:

1) the scripts are not required because the package include their
actions

2) the scripts have been accidentally left out of the packages

3) the scripts are incompatible with ubuntu - directory structure
possible - and so were left out.

Bottom line this is the only enterprise quality CA included in the
repositories that I could find and there is no documentation so no easy
way to use it. This is not something you want to hack at unless you know
what you are doing.

Expecting:

install the packages, follow the red hat flavour documentation and
translate into ubuntuese

outcome:

documentation impossible to follow after install because of missing
scripts

Ubuntu version:

ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS

Package:

dogtag-pki 10.6.0-1ubuntu2
389-ds-base 1.3.7.10-1ubuntu2

** Affects: dogtag-pki (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 1797092] Re: xenial guest on arm64 drops to busybux under openstack bionic-rocky

2018-11-01 Thread dann frazier
** Description changed:

  [Impact]
- on openstack rocky-bionic (with patch, see 1771662), xenial guests will fail
to launch as they drop to the busybox prompt after booting.
+ on openstack rocky-bionic (with patch, see 1771662), xenial guests will fail
to launch as they drop to the busybox prompt after booting. The reason is that
the EFI firmware image switched to ACPI mode by default in bionic. We knew that
was happening, and backported some minimal ACPI support to keep xenial guests
booting (bug 1744754). But, now we're seeing guests panic when trying to
initialize PCI.

  [Test Case]
Deploy rocky-bionic OpenStack and try to launch a xenial guest.
-

  [Fix]
Backport ACPI/PCIe support for arm64 from upstream.

  [ Regression Risk ]
TLDR: Definitely warrants some regression testing on armhf/arm64, but
regression risk seems low for other architectures. Here's a patch-by-patch risk
analysis:

  > 0001-UBUNTU-Config-CONFIG_PCI_ECAM-y.patch
Enables code that will be added in the next patch.

  > 0002-PCI-Provide-common-functions-for-ECAM-mapping.patch
Only adds new code w/ no callers yet

  > 0003-PCI-generic-thunder-Use-generic-ECAM-API.patch
As noted in the commit message:
"The patch does not introduce any functional changes other than a very minor
one: with the new code, on 64-bit platforms, we do just a single ioremap for
the whole config space."

  > 0004-PCI-of-Move-PCI-I-O-space-management-to-PCI-core-cod.patch
  As noted, no functional change.

  > 0005-PCI-Move-ecam.h-to-linux-include-pci-ecam.h.patch
  As noted, no functional change.

  > 0006-PCI-Add-parent-device-field-to-ECAM-struct-pci_confi.patch
This makes changes to the ecam code, but that was added in this series, so no
regression risk there. The pci-thunder-pem changes will be regression tested on
the hardware that uses that driver (Cavium ThunderX).

  > 0007-PCI-Add-pci_unmap_iospace-to-unmap-I-O-resources.patch
Only adds new code, w/ no callers yet

  > 0008-PCI-ACPI-Support-I-O-resources-when-parsing-host-bri.patch
Adds and calls a new function that is a no-op on !ARM (PCI_IOBASE is only
defined on ARM). Also adds a call to pci_unmap_iospace(), which was added in a
previous patch and is also a no-op on !ARM.

  > 0009-UBUNTU-Config-CONFIG_ACPI_MCFG-y.patch
Enables code that will be added in the next patch.

  > 0010-PCI-ACPI-Add-generic-MCFG-table-handling.patch
Adds parsing of a new ACPI table. A possible regression risk to platforms an
MCFG table that were working fine w/ 4.4 and there's a latent bug in this
parsing code.

  > 0011-PCI-Refactor-pci_bus_assign_domain_nr-for-CONFIG_PCI.patch
As noted, no functional change intended.

  > 0012-PCI-Factor-DT-specific-pci_bus_find_domain_nr-code-o.patch
  Again, no functional change.

  > 0013-ARM64-PCI-Add-acpi_pci_bus_find_domain_nr.patch
Only impacts ARM due to CONFIG_PCI_DOMAINS_GENERIC guard

  > 0014-ARM64-PCI-ACPI-support-for-legacy-IRQs-parsing-and-c.patch
arm64-specific PCI initialization code - mitigate risk by regression testing
on supported platforms (X-Gene, ThunderX).

  > 0015-ARM64-PCI-Support-ACPI-based-PCI-host-controller.patch
Adds new code for arm64-ACPI support. We didn't previously support these
devices, so regression risk is negligible.
