Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode. To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1895762/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package. [Bug 1895765] [NEW] conversion to m4a fails
Public bug reported: Conversion to .m4a silently fails 100% of the time. Running the convert-2m4a.sh script manually reveals this error message in conversion.log: output file exists, use --overwrite option Apparently gtkpod's conversion script is running faac on an already- existing output file, which causes faac to fail since version 1.29.5, when the --overwrite option was introduced. Adding --overwrite to ENCODER_OPTS fixes the problem. (This might break compatibility with faac versions more than three years old.) [Bug 1895762] [NEW] PH-B-500 Headphone makes bluetooh loop
Public bug reported: Hi there, I am using Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS(Brazilian Portuguese, so, sorry if I translated wrong some label) in a Dell Inspiron 15 series 3000 and I am having some Bluetooth problems. I always suffer to synchronize my Cadenza PH-B Bluetooth Headphone. It Shows as PH-B-500 at the bluetooth devices list What happens is: 1. I turn on the headphone 2. I go to Settings → Bluetooth 3. The Notebook entire bluetooth enters a shutdown reinitialize loop 4. It only stops when I turn off the headphone But if I: 1. Keep the headphone off 2. go to Settings → Bluetooth 3. Click on the PH-B-500 on the list 4. Turn the headphone on and at the same time click on Conection at the PH-B-500 Bluetooth window it usually starts working fine. The headphone works perfectly on my Android cell phone so I don’t believe it is broken. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bluetooth headphone ph-b-500 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1895762 Title: PH-B-500 Headphone makes bluetooh loop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1895762/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1895526] Re: ocfs2 file system no longer write - "disk full" despite lots of free space
Similar problem here, maybe related. TL,DR: kernel 5.4.0-47 doesn't work kernel 5.4.0-42 works LONG STORY: We installed a fresh ubuntu server 20.04, downloading updates during installation (kernel 5.4.0-47). We setup an ocfs2 cluster, tried to create a simple file on the new volume (with touch), but we obtained the error "no free space on the device". dmesg shows the following error: "ocfs2_reserve_suballoc_bits:780 ERROR: status = -22" After 2 days of debug of our cluster setup, we tried to install a new ubuntu server 20.04, but this time we didn't install the updates (kernel 5.4.0-42)(it was just to speed up the installation). Same ocfs2 setup, now it works. So we discovered the kernel difference. During our debug we obtained several errors and we made some considerations. For example, if we format the volume from the machine with kernel 5.4.0-42, the machine with kernel 5.4.0-47 works, but dmesg shows the same error: "ocfs2_reserve_suballoc_bits:780 ERROR: status = -22". [Bug 1891657] Re: systemd 100% cpu usage apport-autoreport.service: Failed with result 'start-limit-hit'
I actually think this is either a bug with systemd or a change in how it handles the services which apport-autoreport includes. I've tested this by changing /usr/lib/systemd/system/apport-autoreport.service so that it contains the following: ExecStart=/usr/bin/aplay /usr/share/sounds/sound-icons/canary-long.wav Then if I touch a .crash file in /var/crash e.g. touch '/var/crash/canary.crash I ended up hearing the canary sound 5 times then a pause and then the canary sound multiple times again. On Ubuntu 20.04 the same test case results in the canary sound being heard only one time. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1891657 Title: systemd 100% cpu usage apport-autoreport.service: Failed with result 'start-limit-hit' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apport/+bug/1891657/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
