[Bug 1904269] Re: Apply full upgrade - fails with no error message
I did a QA-test install of Lubuntu hirsute on dc7700 (with internet) [not sure it's important, it detected my location as perth; west side of australia instead of east side; about ~2722km out as the bird flies] On reboot & first install, I got the prompt telling me there were updates & I entered password. I didn't get any error message. I then opened terminal and `sudo apt update`, and 38 updates were detected. I would normally `sudo apt full-upgrade` but instead opened discover and it detected the 38 packages. I hit apply in discover and the 38 updates were updated. (confirmed at terminal) I'll add myself as impacted by this issue as the initial update message implies updates were available, I entered password but none were applied. Discover though worked correctly for me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1904269 Title: Apply full upgrade - fails with no error message To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/1904269/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 303140]
I tried to "clean" some (actually many) of my e-mails (I wanted to keep the text while reducing the file size by deleting the attachments) and this still seems to be a big problem after 16 years (!)... as I use TB in a corporate environment, many of the e-mails are signed and thus they become blank when deleting the attachment (the text ist still there when exporting to .eml and using some text editor to read them, but alas, that's not the way to read an archived email :)... Is there a possibility that somebody fixes this and somehow makes it possible that the text is still readable and - as suggested before - a message appears with something like "The digital signature has been removed from this message because the attachment was removed, thus altering the e-mail."? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/303140 Title: No more "Save all" / "detach all" / "delete all" for attachments To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/thunderbird/+bug/303140/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
