[Bug 1930355] Re: gnome-calendar crashes disabling/enabling or removing/readding calendar (Signal 6)
I solved the problem for myself by commenting out the offending line (212) from gcal-timeline.c and building and installing my own package. Thanks. That does at least confirm the system went to sleep and didn't wake up (or did wake up but not for long enough to write to the log). [Bug 1930477] [NEW] cups 2.3.1 does not enumerate printer instances that are set up with lpoptions
Public bug reported: We use printer instances (PRINTER/instance) that are defined in /etc/cups/lpoptions Printer instances don't work properly with Ubuntu 20.04 and cups 2.3.1. We have used the same lpoptions file with earlier versions of cups. With 2.3.1, the command: lp PRINTER/instance FILENAME works But the printer instances are not visible as printers in the libreoffice print dialog, or by using lpstat -e or lpstat -a. There is a recent fix in the uplevel cups code for printer instances. We did our own make and install of the uplevel master branch 2.3.5 and printer instances are working now. We hope that ubuntu 20.04 can soon include the 2.3.5 cups code. [Bug 1930277] Re: On 21.04, the REPL user prompt disappears after execution
Retitled bug to better describe the problem and confirmed that this also affects Debian upstream. Does not affect a REPL launched on Clojure 1.10.2 with Leiningen. Leiningen appears to launch a 1.10.1 REPL by default. This appears to be entirely cosmetic so I'm not sure will be fixed in bullseye (has no effect on Clojure core functionality and we are frozen). Thanks for the report. ** Summary changed: - On 21.04, the REPL prints all values twice. + On 21.04, the REPL user prompt disappears after execution ** Changed in: clojure (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: clojure (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Elana Hashman (ehashman) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1930277 Title: On 21.04, the REPL user prompt disappears after execution To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/clojure/+bug/1930277/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1909589] Re: No se ha podido calcular la actualización
Ok, this is going in a weird direction. I had (in 2020) an equal issue with a device going from 18.04 to 20.04. I left that behind doing a clean 20.04 install. Now with another device I am not able to do a clean install (I am not able to backup the stuff in this device) then I will like to fix the same kind of issue. The result of the command attached is from "this device" trying to go from Ubuntu 14.04 to 16.01 as the first step to finally came to 20.04. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1909589 Title: No se ha podido calcular la actualización To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1909589/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Hi, I'm not really following this bug report anymore, and I won't test this, but thanks for (most likely) fixing the issue. [Bug 1929213] Re: Ubuntu server LVM creates clone partitions and crash installation (invalid wwn is used by udev & probert as well)
I think the reason LVM deploys fail is that there is already a VG with the name that is to be used, which should be deleted but isn't because the installer gets confused about which disk is which. In any case, the source of the problem is clear and the exact symptoms are not that important. We should definitely handle this situation better. (I think arguably the udev rules should such a bogus wwn as well but I don't know as much about how things work at that level). Disk actions can provide three bits of data to find the drive: wwn, serial and path. Currently the installer just uses the first of whichever of these is provided (so in this case, the bogus wwn), but Dimitri suggested that instead it should use all provided fields, which would work much better for this bug at least. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1929213 Title: Ubuntu server LVM creates clone partitions and crash installation (invalid wwn is used by udev & probert as well) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/subiquity/+bug/1929213/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Hello Pascal, or anyone else affected, Accepted ceph into hirsute-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ceph/16.2.4-0ubuntu0.21.04.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository. Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation on how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users. If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, what testing has been performed on the package and change the tag from verification-needed- hirsute to verification-done-hirsute. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed-hirsute. In either case, without details of your testing we will not be able to proceed. Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance for helping! N.B.
