This problem is solved. All I need is restart since the last upgrade. Now, it doesn't crash, at least with this error. Crashes sometimes due to keyring errors, but this is another issue. [Bug 427999] Re: No Execute option when configuring Evolution
Wish-list? This bug makes Evolution totally unusable, and marked it as wish-list? I'm on Karmic alpha 5 AMD64 with all updates (right now). I can't configure an initial mail account, this means I can't make Evolution work. (If you have upgraded from Jaunty and have some account configured I guess Evolution works OK) I've attached an screenshot of the Evolution first time wizard lack of apply button in the last screen. [Bug 301990] [NEW] boinc-client starts before nvidia kernel module is loaded and failed to detect CUDA devices
Public bug reported: I've a Geforce 9800GTX and I use it for CUDA computing with BOINC and GPUGRID. The problem is that boinc-client is started before the nvidia kernel module is loaded and then boinc-client failed to detect properly CUDA devices. FIX: Change boinc-client start order from S20boinc-client to (for example) S99boinc-client This workaround have 2 advantages: 1- CUDA devices will be detect correctly (if I restart boinc-client manually when the system finish boot it works OK) 2- Boot times will be lower since boinc-client uses ALL CPU time available (at least in the default config) and it start a lot early than other important system resources like postfix, pulseaudo, hal, dkms... that will be a little affected from boinc cpu consumption. I don't know how to make a patch for this, but I'll do it.
