[Bug 1853665] Re: Realtek RTL8821CE [10ec:c821] Subsystem [103c:831a] Bluetooth not probed
The issue still persists with kernel 5.13 and the impish driver Why doesn't the maintainers of this driver use some of the code of tomaspinho driver? I read on Linux Mint forum that some people got bluetooth working with that driver. [Bug 221525] Re: Hardy takes a long time to shut down, prints network manager error message
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 216266 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/216266 You may be correct as the bug also occurs on my Xubuntu install, and XFCE uses GDM as far as I know. But we still don't know if it's network manager or GDM causing the bug. Perhaps a Kubuntu hardy user could verify that the bug does not occur on their install as it uses KDM instead of GDM. -- Hardy takes a long time to shut down, prints network manager error message https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221525 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 221525] Re: Hardy takes a long time to shut down, prints network manager error message
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 216266 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/216266 I think we can all agree that they are duplicates of each other. Gutsy took 5-10 secs to showdown, while hardy has all these errors, and everyone who experiences these errors has the SAME error ie network manager etc, so I doubt very much usplash is to blame, if network manager (or whatever is triggering the bug) was fixed then usplash would function normally. -- Hardy takes a long time to shut down, prints network manager error message https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221525 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 216266] Re: Usplash problem on shutdown.
This happens on both my ubuntu 8.04 and xubuntu 8.04 installs. It contains the lines dbus init failed, I can confirm it is not related to evolution as I have never used it on either (x)ubuntu. Perhaps it may be related to wireless networking, as looking through my logs I notice network manager has reported an error saying it cannot find any wireless networks. This has been happening no matter what theme I use. I feel this should be filed against network manager as opposed to usplash as I believe usplash would work correctly if it was not interrupted by the error messages. -- Usplash problem on shutdown. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/216266 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
