[Bug 1852183] Re: [X11] copy/paste (clipboard) is broken in Ubuntu 19.10

2020-02-12 Thread AJenbo
This issue is present in 20.04. I'm mainly seeing it in CodeLite
(probably because that is where I spend all my time), but one
interesting thing is that it also affects VMs (Ubuntu 18.04) running in
Boxes with shared copy paste.

Hello gf
I no longer have this issue in 16.04. But instead of creating a file it create
a .desktop file that points to the actual imap address for the email. This is
fairly useless.

2014-06-22 Thread AJenbo
Lubuntu 14.04
The following all results in a black screen:

video=ofonly
video=radeonfb:off
video=radeonfb:off radeon.modeset=1
video=radeonfb:off radeon.modeset=1 radeon.agpmode=-1

I can usually reboot by blindly pressing ctrl+alt+f1 ctrl+alt+del
ctrl+alt+del sot it is not frozen, but no console ever apperas.

I have also tried compiling the kernel with radeonfb as a module but
this didn't help either, it just made xorg not work (console did).

[Bug 1330496] Re: package mariadb-server-5.5 (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: underproces nyt pre-installation-script returnerede afslutningsstatus 1

2014-06-16 Thread AJenbo
Installation media is set automatically by the error report application,
I originally installed Ubuntu 11.10 from a CD and have since then
upgraded to every released version using the upgrade manager and am now
running 14.04.

All I did was sudo apt-get install marinadb-server, any options where
left on default. About a month ago I had installed mysql-server-5.6 and
I think this is what triggered the issue, but I can't be sure.

In both caes I'm installing from the official/default 14.04 repros.

This was for the shipped docs so no URL. It is (was) string 119 on the

where completely different then the once that are shipped to day. But
even back then I believe the entire migration section was dropped in
10.10. Also the number of IE7 users are all but gone now. But thank you

It's an inherent issue with the X11 (X.org) design. It has been looked

solution will be switching to Wayland instead of X.org, somthing that

[Bug 919498] Re: Guest users can resturn to admin with no password prompt

2012-01-27 Thread AJenbo
Ok seams it is different then i remembered it, what you have to do is
the following:

Log in to your account.
Press ctrl+alt+f8 (this will work weather you have already started a guest
session or not)
Pressing ctrl+alt+f7 will bring you back to your personal session with out a
password prompt.

So the issue is still there but luckily slightly less likely to be
exposed.

[Bug 603906] Re: Douple space in line #20

2011-09-15 Thread AJenbo
From a translators perspective it's not obvious that the string will be
displayed with only one space and so might try to maintain the double
space.

I believe that the parentheses should be within the previous sentence
and the . be is implied at the end of a parentheses, please check the
grammar for US English.

compiz (not just because of this issue), of cause unfortunate as compiz
can provide desktop zooming witch is of grate help to users that are

[Bug 86184] Re: Can't change cursor style using Compiz.

2011-07-29 Thread AJenbo
Ok, it was just that wasting time on things like Unity seamed a bit rude an
unnecessary. Pointing out that compiz is needed for good accessibility is an
important note I think.
Do you think we should maybe promote this bug to a paper cut?

If it is shown the same in the actual docs then i think it should be
kept unstyled in the html as well. But what i don't understand is what
is the reason for having the tag in there at all?

[Bug 721992] Re: Acronyms in hardware/disks doesn't explain what they are

2011-04-28 Thread AJenbo
Well it's not a direct violation of HTML, but normally you would use
acronym to explain what the acronym stands for. On the Danish loco we
have the default style for acronym be underlined and have a question
mark as the cursor, so this makes the issue more pronounced.
