[Bug 602825] Re: wicd doesnt like python 2.7

2010-12-22 Thread Adam Blackburn
Matthieu Baerts: what exactly does your branch fix (something about
wpa_supplicant?), and does it fix something that would be good to have
upstream? I'd be happy to merge it with our stuff as well, if you'd
like.

Do you have a python2 link/binary on your system?

[Bug 602825] Re: wicd doesnt like python 2.7

2010-12-10 Thread Adam Blackburn
ok, in the patch you linked to, change the python2 reference (at the
very bottom of the patch) to python2.7 or python2.6 and that should fix
it. We were debating about what to do about that in the IRC channel the
other day. It seems impractical to scan PATH for python2.7 then 2.6 then
2.5 but I think that's what we're going to have to do as it seems that
there is not a uniform way of accessing python2 across distros.

[Bug 545671] Re: Mouse works in GDM, mouse doesn't work once logged in

2010-05-31 Thread Adam Blackburn
Touchpad just started working again with the following output in dmesg:

[39540.156901] psmouse.c: TouchPad at isa0060/serio1/input0 lost
synchronization, throwing 4 bytes away.
[39540.664949] psmouse.c: resync failed, issuing reconnect request

Went like this:

In X, keyboard stopped working (just randomly)
Switch to VT
Switch back to X, keyboard and mouse both work

This bug appears to still not be fixed despite being set as fix
released.

[Bug 545671] Re: Mouse works in GDM, mouse doesn't work once logged in

2010-05-30 Thread Adam Blackburn
I'm still having an issue with this on a fully-updated Lucid system (the
same one as in the original report). Touchpad works fine in GDM, works
fine immediately after resume from suspend (for a second or so) then
completely stops responding to touches. It had gone away for a while but
has returned in the last couple of days. External mice work fine.

[Bug 545671] [NEW] Mouse works in GDM, mouse doesn't work once logged in

2010-03-23 Thread Adam Blackburn
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

My touchpad stops working once logged into GNOME. The touchpad works as
expected in GDM.

Expected:
Touchpad works normally after logged into desktop.

Actually happened:
Touchpad stopped responding during the GDM - Desktop transition.

To reproduce:
Start Lucid and log in. Mouse will stop working once logged in. This happened
even through reboots.

I managed to get the mouse working by switching to a VT (ctrl+alt+f1)
and then back to X (ctrl+alt+f8).

Found in dmesg:
[ 2605.987852] psmouse.c: TouchPad at isa0060/serio1/input0 lost
synchronization, throwing 4 bytes away.
[ 2606.494511] psmouse.c: resync failed, issuing reconnect request

[Bug 374650] Re: Wireless Disconnects When Loaded by Torrent Traffic, Must Reboot To Reconnect

2010-01-06 Thread Adam Blackburn
Marking this invalid in wicd as it seems to be a kernel problem, not one
with wicd. Since it happens with both NM and wicd it leads me to believe
it's something lower in the system.

[Bug 326129] Re: firefox-3.{5, 6} bug, merge review comments don't get wrapped in pre block

2009-07-18 Thread Adam Blackburn
Just to confirm this is still a problem in Firefox 3.5.1 and Konqueror.

Since comments and merge proposals use similar style boxes, would it not
be possible to borrow the bug-comment class (comments are surrounded
with div class=bug-comment/div) for use in merge proposals? Bug
comments seem to work just fine.
