[Bug 1617599] Re: Resume from suspend causes reboot, except if USB key is plugged in

2016-10-12 Thread Adam Chou
Not sure if this helps, but I was having similar issues on my Dell
Precision 7510. I edited /etc/grub/default as listed in this link and it
is now working: http://askubuntu.com/questions/58627/resume-from-
suspend-occasionally-causes-a-restart

[Bug 1586544] Re: No trackpad options are displaying in settings

2016-05-31 Thread Adam Chou
Ok, good to know. I've uninstalled the package. Is there anything else I
should try doing?

That package was not originally installed. I tried installing it and
restarting my system but I still don't have the ability to modify my
touchpad settings.

[Bug 1586544] [NEW] No trackpad options are displaying in settings

2016-05-27 Thread Adam Chou
Public bug reported:

This is a fresh Xenial install on a Dell Precision 7510.

When I go to Settings->Mouse & Touchpad, the only three settings
displayed are

1. Primary button
2. Double-click
3. Pointer speed

I can't invert my scroll direction, or set any of the other settings. I
believe the trackpad functionality is working as I can do a two finger
scroll correctly.

[Bug 1561250] Re: Xenial vagrant image is missing its hostname in /etc/hosts

2016-04-27 Thread Adam Chou
Just to expand on this, this issue is also present in the latest Xenial
AWS AMI, with ID ami-64140d0e. This makes running Xenial on AWS
difficult, to say the least.
