[Bug 890784] Re: Gnome-terminal continues to show outline cursor after getting focus
I'm seeing this bug multiple times a day these days. Using gnome-session with xmonad, and sakura as my terminal. Seems to happen sometimes when I switch workspaces, and sometimes when I lock/unlock the screen. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/890784 Title: Gnome-terminal continues to show outline cursor after getting focus To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/890784/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 225361] Re: other users don't have access to .gvfs
I've found a nice workaround for this, at least for the case where root is trying to backup /home. Before performing the backup, do: mount --bind /home /mnt/home-bind Then, backup /mnt/home-bind instead of /home. The bind mount exposes only things on the filesystem mounted at /home, so you get a full backup of that, without the FUSE/gvfs problem getting in the way. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/225361 Title: other users don't have access to .gvfs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gvfs/+bug/225361/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 855758] [NEW] ECB layout hooks cause frames to be split twice on show-buffer
Public bug reported: With emacs23, activating ecb causes problems whenever a frame needs to be split for show-buffer (e.g. to show help or completions). Instead of ending up with two side-by-side buffers, I end up with the frame split vertically, then the top half split horizontally, with the new buffer shown in both the top-right and bottom splits. (I hope this is clear - if anyone would like a screenshot, let me know.) I have attached a patch against ecb-2.40+cvs20110608, generated with git format-patch against commit 317be2c36e6dd67dab37f3bb22da37a6902032e3 in the git repo git://git.vireo.org/ecb.git . Packages including this commit can be found for maverick and lucid in my PPA - https://launchpad.net/~awg/+archive/emacs-updates/ . I have tested it only with the oneiric version of emacs23, backported to lucid and maverick. ** Affects: ecb (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: layout show-buffer -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/855758 Title: ECB layout hooks cause frames to be split twice on show-buffer To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ecb/+bug/855758/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 540070] Re: wicd connect to wpa2 wireless network bad password
I noticed this problem after upgrading to Lucid. After removing wicd, I went to try network-manager, and discovered it was already installed and running. After removing network-manager, and re-installing wicd, it works fine. Perhaps the problem is that installing Lucid's wicd package doesn't uninstall network-manager, and they have a race to see who controls the wireless. -- wicd connect to wpa2 wireless network bad password https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/540070 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
