Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nut Whenever I boot my system (running Ubuntu 10.10), I get these errors in my boot.log and on the screen if I'm on the console: udevd[458]: BUS= will be removed in a future udev version, please use SUBSYSTEM= to match the event device, or SUBSYSTEMS= to match a parent device, in /lib/udev/rules.d/52-nut-usbups.rules:6 ** Affects: nut (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to nut in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/692171 Title: using BUS= in udev rules causes system boot error/warning -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 692168] [NEW] Pidgin reports an undefined symbol error
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pidgin-audacious After having updated from 10.04 to 10.10 yesterday, I noticed pidgin- audacious stopped working. When trying to enable the plugin, it is grayed out and Pidgin spits an error message: Error: undefined symbol 'audacious_remote_is_playing'. Audacious has been updated to 2.4.0 during the upgrade, PIdgin was already latest as I'm using their PPA to manage updates. I made various tests, such as trying to rebuild the package from source, but no luck. It appears to be a linker issue, can't tell exactly what's wrong. I'd say this bug is a regression. ** Affects: pidgin-audacious (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/692168 Title: Pidgin reports an undefined symbol error -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 692170] [NEW] numlock weirdness when typing passphrase
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cryptsetup I'm running an encrypted setup and I've noticed a bug since Ubuntu 10.04 or so (running 10.10 now), if not earlier. Whenever I start inputting my passphrase and I type a digit without Num Lock enabled, Ubuntu takes me to the console, displaying the Enter passphrase dialog on a new line for each typed character, never returning to the new fancy plymouth boot screen. ** Affects: cryptsetup (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/692170 Title: numlock weirdness when typing passphrase -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
