[Bug 842428] Re: Messaging indicator doesn't go blue if chat window is open
I agree that this bug fix has to be backported to Oneiric. Empathy is pretty useless as a chat application if it doesn't even notify when there are unread messages. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/842428 Title: Messaging indicator doesn't go blue if chat window is open To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/telepathy-indicator/+bug/842428/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 870450] [NEW] unity components stay in the background
Public bug reported: The application launcher and the window switcher (alt+tab thingie) will once in a while move to the background and then stay there. I have attached screenshots to demonstrate the problem. This happens daily and the only way I know to fix it is to restart X. [Bug 731630] Re: gwibber crashed with KeyError in setup_ui(): 'stream'
It seems that sometimes when Gwibber crashes (for me it was https://bugs.launchpad.net/gwibber/+bug/542748) it messes up a gconf key. Particularly the one in apps/gwibber/preferences/streams. Mine was set to [{}]. I changed that to [] and Gwibber launched but no streams were visible. I hit the Gwibber menu button and then New Stream and Gwibber works for me again. Now the value in gconf for me is: [{account: null, transient: false, stream: messages}]. [Bug 675402] Re: Jabber video quality is terrible
Sorry, I should have replied earlier. Of the two systems that I used for the initial screenshot, I only enabled the maverick-proposed repository under one. I am hesitant to add this repository on my girlfriend's laptop. However, the results are interesting. On the computer without maverick- proposed enabled, the video chat is identical to the initial bad quality results. On my computer (with maverick-proposed) enabled, the errors are very different. When the chat first starts up, the video quality looks good and then the video gets very pixelated at parts and then all grey as if a keyframe is missing. I'll hopefully get some screenshots tonight and upload them here. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/675402 Title: Jabber video quality is terrible -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 589204] Re: Evolution Setup Assistant dialog too large for netbook screens
This bug is extremely annoying to me. It should be an easy change as the panels already have scroll bars. The panels just need to have a much smaller minimal height. A workaround for this bug is to ensure that the window is not maximized (Alt+F10) and then hold in Alt, click and drag the window up to see the content at the bottom. The Calendar section of Evolution also explodes larger than my monitor. For those of you have not experienced this, I'm going to try to explain how annoying it is. My evolution window is sitting on Workspace 5 and it is maximized. If I happen to click on the Calendar, the window grows by about 80 pixels. Now if I happen to try and click on something the whole window jumps higher about 80 pixels making me miss what I tried to click on. I try to click again and the window will jump down the 80 pixels to where it started. It is impossible to even click on the Minimize, Restore and Maximize buttons. I have been in this scenario so often that I know to hit Alt+F10 and drag the window around before attempting to click on any items. When the window is not maximized, then this jumping around behaviour doesn't happen. I would like to add that after click on the Calendar button, the entire program stays too large for my screen even after clicking back to Mail and the program needs to be shut down and restarted before it can be used properly. Again, this should be an easy fix and Evolution should not ship with Ubuntu Netbook Remix if it does not fit on a netbook screen. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/589204 Title: Evolution Setup Assistant dialog too large for netbook screens -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 664157] Re: Export to HTML gives error with linked notes
With a few extra minutes of experimenting I've found a workaround. Take all commas out of the note names. I'm guessing that the commas break the creation of the hyper links and I'm also guessing that this applies to more special characters. -- Export to HTML gives error with linked notes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/664157 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 332543] Re: echo test not working
I have more accounts than that. I have had trouble in the past signing in, and creating a new account would seem to work for a little while. But that's a whole different issue. Echo test now works for me. I feel silly that this entire time I have had such an easy to solve problem. Can I suggest that we have an obvious error message when a call fails? Possibly a popup window saying User username is not registered. Please ensure username and password are correct.
