[Bug 382056] Re: Windows moved to wrong workspace after suspend/resume
I recently migrated from an old System 76 desktop machine running 16.04 with two heads and old monitors to a new System 76 desktop system running 16.04 and a pair of new Dell monitors. The biggest change is that the monitors are now hooked up via HDMI. As soon as I made this change, trouble started. Every morning when I unlock the screens, all of my windows are now living on the left screen for workspace one. So the windows move off monitor two, and they move off other workspaces to all congregate on one monitor and one workspace. I have never experienced this before my system change - which was all just hardware. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/382056 Title: Windows moved to wrong workspace after suspend/resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/382056/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I run Nvidia, ubuntu 10.04, and twinview. I originally saw this under kubuntu when I upgraded in Claws. I quickly switched to Gnome which fixed that problem, but then I saw it in gvim - not always, but most of the time. I haven't had any problem with OpenOffice. I dropped into recovery mode, dropped into root, and did : touch /boot/initrd.img-2.6.17-12-generic mkdir /lib/modules/2.6.17-12-generic and then ran dpkg --configure -a and it all cleared up. Part of the problem may have been that my /boot partition had gotten very full over the years. -- initramfs pointing to wrong kernel version https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/502417 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 315891] [NEW] kde system monitor displays negative CPU % after running for a few days
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ksysguard Running kubuntu intrepid on an AMD64 machine (but in 32 bit mode). KDE System Monitor version 4, KDE 4.1.3 After a day or sometimes several, the text bar at the bottom gets garbage for the stats. Right now it says my CPU usage is -76.844% and my memory usage is 0/0 B. And the swap field is switching between No swap space available and Swap : 0B/5.6MiB. It also says I have 'zero' processes! The graphs and process table look okay. If I kill it and restart, it will work properly for a day or several, and then go crazy again. [Bug 299381] Re: importing matplotlib gives warning
I installed matplotlib a few weeks ago into a fresh Intrepid install (I always do a fresh install instead of an update), and I don't see the reported issue. [Bug 216480] Re: wine output error
It seems to be caused by kernel 2.6.24-16, if you boot into 2.6.24-15 you don't get the errors but you do with the newer kernel so my guess is the problem lies with the kernel rather than wine. In this case wine is just showing a problem. -- wine output error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/216480 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 70040] DVD/CD RW mistakingly being assigned to /dev/dvdrw /dev/cdrw
Public bug reported: Edgy - udev 093-0ubuntu18 On my system I have a CD/DVD drive (/dev/hdc) and a CDRW/DVDRW (/dev/hdd). Udev incorrectly sets /dev/dvd and /dev/cdrom to /dev/hdd, which is understandable as both devices say they can play CDs and DVDs. I've found out why changes aren't being made when you add/edit/delete entries.
