[Bug 397784] [NEW] Keyword/Tag search doesn't work

2009-07-10 Thread Alendit
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: tracker

Tracker doesn't search in keywords.

Steps to reproduce on 9.04

1. Install tracker
2. Search for a File
3. Click 'add Tag'
4. Click on tag to search for it
5. No search result

Waiting/Re-Indexing doesn't change anything. trackerd.log and tracker-
indexer.log don't show anything interesting either. Searching for
anything else works fine.

Some Screenshots included.

Same here with Jaunty's 4.25 and 4.26 compiled from source :( In
addition - in Ubuntu bluez upstream is divided in bluez bluez-alsa
bluez-gstreamer libbluetooth3 etc - so you've got to override some files
in order to install upstream package. I can't just remove mentioned
packages with apt-get - quite some packages depend on them nautilus
including.

How did you installed 4.25/26?

[Bug 86260] Re: (feisty) No 3d acceleration with fglrx module

2007-05-26 Thread Alendit
Hi

yes, this issue is also in final Feisty, both with fglrx and radeo
drivers. But it seems to be a problem only for ATI video cards - on my
tower with nvidia I get the same errors in Xorg.0.log and direct
rendering is working fine.

[Bug 98721] Re: Black screen on Xorg start

2007-04-05 Thread Alendit
To compile 8.28.8 on 2.6.20 I had to copy asm/unistd.h from older kernel
and replace in firegl_public.c linux/config.h with linux/utsrelease.h.
Now I have 3daccel, but only with X 7.1 (all xserver-xorg packages are
holded). This is a dirty hack, but I works for me. I hope, ati will make
next driver release better.

[Bug 98721] Re: Black screen on Xorg start

2007-03-31 Thread Alendit
Since 8.28.8 doesn't work with Xorg 7.2 i had to downgrade it to 7.1 in
order to use fglrx. This bug seems to be only on mobility radeon x700
(m26) chips.

[Bug 98721] Re: Black screen on Xorg start

It is not a MonitorLayout bug, i am sure ;)
I have no idea if this problem is corrected with 8.35.5, but i really don't
think it is.

[Bug 98721] Black screen on Xorg start

2007-03-29 Thread Alendit
Public bug reported:

After update on 8.34.8 driver for my ATI Radeon X700 (m26) i can not start Xorg
any more. The system freezes and show no reaction on anything. Only thing I can
do is cold reset. I had the same problem if I installed 8.34.8 in Edgy.
However, with Edgy fglrx driver(8.28.8) i can use 3d accel. It would be nice if
you would add an option for old 8.28.8 driver.

I purged (aptitude purge) deskbar-applet and installed it with all

Self-compiled 2.15.4-0ubuntu1 doesn't have this bug. But this version is
not in Edgy archive.

One more thing: the close button in about dialoge doesn't works it both
versions.
