Confirmed on ubuntu 14.04 kernel 3.13.0-27-generic with NFSv4 mounts to an Isilon filesystem - even with very high values for the various kernel.keys parameters, we still get sporadic failures for UID/username mappings resulting in user or group IDs on new files showing up as 4294967294 rather than the correct value. headers, but upon installing the image package, no symbolic links are
created (e.g. /vmlinuz - boot/vmlinuz-3.2.0-23-generic), and the
postinst script in the package does not contain any commands that might
do so.
