I found a solution for this bug but also a new one. I'll soon delete
this bug report and create a new with updated information.

Audio output is not working - front output as well.

Audio device is Realtek High Definition Audio as noted in hardware
configuration listings.

Paradoxical is: The audio manager keeps identifying an High Definition
Audio Controller - and I'm able to change any setting I want to.

1. If it only shows that I can send sound over HDMI... then Realtek wasn't 
detected at all..
2. Yes, I did. Front panel didn't work as mentioned.
3. I'll do when I get back home.
