[Bug 1620636] Re: Fails to pair with Bose QC35 headphones
I have a Sony MDR 1000X, which is similar to the Bose. I have the same problem and tried the solutions people here mentionned (I had the same choppy streaming when forcing ControllerMode = bredr). The only difference is that my headset «pairs» but there's no sound after it. I can send any output log that might be needed. Thanks. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1620636 Title: Fails to pair with Bose QC35 headphones To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1620636/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1242115] Re: Black window borders, black terminal
Great! I could not tell if this would work for me, all I know is that a fresh install does not have the problem with my device. [Bug 1242115] Re: Black window borders, black terminal
Well I did gconftool-2 --set --type=list --list-type=string /apps/compiz-1/general/screen0/options/active_plugins "[core, composite, opengl, decor, snap, vpswitch, compiztoolbox, gnomecompat, imgpng, unitygrabhandles, grid, copytex, place, move, wall, resize, session, regex, widget, mousepoll, animation, fade, expo, scale, workarounds, unityshell]" Now I don't get any bug report when doing gtk-window-decorator --replace The fact that it was empty seems odd to me, but I still don't have any decor :/. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1242115 Title: Black window borders, black terminal To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/1242115/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1242115] Re: Black window borders, black terminal
It now seems to me that this is the bug: CompizPlugins: No value set for `/apps/compiz-1/general/screen0/options/active_plugins' I think I should get something when doing: gconftool-2 --get /apps/compiz-1/general/screen0/options/active_plugins But I don't know which plugins should I enable? Note that I did not change anything in that list, I haven't played much with CCSM (I installed it to track the bug).

I can reprodruce the bug and get a report when doing: gtk-window-decorator --replace The report is attached. [Bug 1242115] Re: Black window borders, black terminal
My last attachment is erroneous, I made a typo in gtk-windowS-decorator, which is why I did not have any decor at all. This is now correct, and I am back with the black borders. I now attach an excerpt of gnome-session.log, what happens when I disable then enable decor. [Bug 1242115] Re: Black window borders, black terminal
Hi, thanks for your reply. The file is quite big, I thought it would empty itself after a restart but it did not. I have just rebooted so the latest entries must be of interest. I needed, I can delete the file to get a clean one after a restart. Note that I currently do not have any borders, I got many system crash errors on startup. ** Attachment added: "gnome-session.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/1242115/+attachment/3886439/+files/gnome-session.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1242115 Title: Black window borders, black terminal To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/1242115/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1173335] Re: Resolution continually switches with dual monitors + screen flickering
Downgrading to 12.10 or 12.04 did not help, my screen was still flickering. I am now on Debian/Gnome and everything is fine. Yet, I occasionally have a minor flickering, I'm not sure whether or not it is the same problem. I still cannot use dual screens without having total random behaviour: monitors alternate between clone, one on one off and both on, like every minute. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1173335 Title: Resolution continually switches with dual monitors + screen flickering To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/1173335/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
