[Bug 329645] Re: Cannot suspend a and wake up correctly

2011-08-27 Thread Alienation
This is a very effective way to solve bugs! There is nothing I can see
about any series information here. It's ubuntu and linux.

Since it was not solved, how about automatically reopen in the latest
series?

Bug is still present in 11.04
Linux 2.6.38-11-generic-pae #48-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 29 20:51:21 UTC 2011 i686

problem seems to be with awk. Installing gawk is a workaround. (for gt5

[Bug 329645] Re: Cannot suspend a and wake up correctly

2010-02-16 Thread Alienation
I'm with a MSI and I always had this problem.

Hibernate works fine, s2ram as described. Just tested it again, and
still there.

[Bug 206459] Re: print status doesn't update automatically

2009-05-06 Thread Alienation
This bug is in KDE 3.5.10 (probably earlyer) not in kde 4. Ubuntu 8.04
LTS (mind the LTS) does not include KDE 4.

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: system-config-printer-kde

The program doesn't automatically update from processing to done
after having printed a job. The cups status listed in localhost:631 is
  however updated timely.
+
+ The problem exists in KDE 3.5.10 but not in kde 4

** Changed in: kdeutils (Ubuntu)
   Status: Fix Released = Confirmed

[Bug 206459] Re: print status doesn't update automatically

2009-05-06 Thread Alienation
Well, help us non-standart-ubuntu-politicians: I (and I'm sure many
others) manage many ubuntu 8.4 installations. I still have this bug and
the fix in jaunty wont help unless of course I upgrade the complete
distribution ditching kde 3.5.10.

Where should we report the bug?

Thanks

2009-02-22 Thread Alienation
Yes it is still in 8.04. If there is a new version of the script, can
you post it or link to it? I do (and done) a lot of 8.04 installations,
and I would like to see this fix for 8.04.

[Bug 206459] Re: print status doesn't update automatically

2008-10-31 Thread Alienation
I confirm the fix if for KDE4 only. 3.5.10 still has this annoying
problem. I've tried to diff the scripts to port the fix but there are a
lot of differences and I don't really know python... Anyone?
