[Bug 274827] [NEW] Nautilus crash when I try to change a directory name that is your current path at an open terminal.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus Release:8.04 nautilus: Installed: 1:2.22.3-0ubuntu2 Candidate: 1:2.22.3-0ubuntu2 Version table: *** 1:2.22.3-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com hardy-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:2.22.2-0ubuntu4 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages Go to a path at a terminal, like /home/user/dir. At Nautilus try to rename dir. What I expects to happen is: - Warn the user that the directory can not be renamed, and why (like 'terminal is using it'). or - Change the directory name (probably not the best option, because then the other packages would have to handle this change). What happens is that Nautilus crashes and reopens at user home. (At least it could be where it was.) ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Nautilus crash when I try to change a directory name that is your current path at an open terminal. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/274827 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
