[Bug 1434591] Re: [mako] Cannot connect to a secure, shared "ap" hotspot
I'm facing the same issue with my nexus 4 which I bought for getting Ubuntu Touch working on this device. Due Hotspot is an essential feature for me I former thought of switching to an Android based Image despite I really like the way Ubuntu-Touch works. Additionally I'm now used to its Gesture-Based interface. Then I heard that Hotspot is coming via OTA-6 and I rather waited, instead of newly flashing the device. Too bad that is still not working on my device then. If this feature will be a "won't fix for mako", I see no other Chance to regret the further Usage of Ubuntu Touch, which would make me really sad but is then without any alternative for me :-( -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1434591 Title: [mako] Cannot connect to a secure, shared "ap" hotspot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1434591/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1315651] Re: playonlinux-bash missing in packages since raring
Hi Josh, I did notice that this is NOT a problem in the POL distribution and I am sorry, if I posted my issue at the wrong place. I just wanted to mention that in the official repository playonlinux- bash is existing in /usr/share/playonlinux/ but the wrapper is missing in /usr/bin/. So who can I ask for the POL-Package in the ubuntu repositories? Currently I cannot see who's the maintainer of the package distributed in the official repositories. I could do download this on my own, ok. But I needed this existing as a depency install. Thats why I thought I should report this to the packager. So again, sorry if this is the wrong place for reporting my issue. I will fix this in my own package, which will add the missing wrapper then. [Bug 1315651] Re: playonlinux-bash missing in packages since raring
Hi, I checked this issue against a fresh install of kubuntu 14.04. I placed the missing wrapper script in /usr/bin/ and everything worked for me as it should. The thing I now wonder is if I should follow my plan doing a postinst script that will place the missing file if it's not existing. Could there be problems if this file was patched by my postinst script and an update of playonlinux package comes in trying to place the same file? Any advisories? Should I wait for patching? If you don't plan to fix this, I also could place the file in a debian package. Could that lead to the same update-problems I'm considering? [Bug 1315651] [NEW] playonlinux-bash missing in packages since raring
Public bug reported: Hi there, it seems that you missed to add playonlinux-bash in the playonlinux.install file in your debian source package. Probably nobody missed it so far due playonlinux will nontheless work proper. I am running into problems while working on my project, which makes usage of playonlinux-bash: http://sourceforge.net/projects/wineportscripts/ The problem is a trivial and can be fixed instantly. Just add the playonlinux-bash wrapper to debian/bin/ and add debian/bin/playonlinux-bash usr/bin/ at the end of playonlinux.install file. many thanks André ** Affects: playonlinux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1315651 Title: playonlinux-bash missing in packages since raring To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/playonlinux/+bug/1315651/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1063842] [NEW] PornView App as recomendation on gcompris details page in Software Center

[Bug 988472] Re: compiz scale cannot scale windows from all workspaces
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 933776 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/933776 I sadly must confirm this bug which seems more to be a feature-bug. I hope you will fix it to it's old behaviour because I really need this at work. Currently I use 10.04 Desktop there but I planned to switch to Unity until next year. If this, for me urgently needed, feature is not available, I sadly have to choose another working environment which delivers this feature in it's originally behaviour. [Bug 1036002] [NEW] Can confirm problem with the same chipset
Public bug reported: Hi, I can confirm the error with my wlan-stick. It works perfectly in an initial install of ubuntu 12.04 after updating to the latest patch state via update-manager the device just stopped working properly. Due this happend to my old install and could not solve it, I decided to have a look using the device with live-cd of ubuntu 12.04. It worked without any problems. So I did a fresh install of ubuntu 12.04 and it still worked as it should. After (and even while) updating the system via update-manager to latest patch level, the device did see much less networks in the area and finally could not connect with my own wlan.
