[Bug 584443] [NEW] OpenJdk / IcedTea6 1.8 garbage collection deadlock
Public bug reported: OpenJdk / IcedTea6 1.8 performs infinite subsequent garbage collections. Tomcat does not respond anymore as the gc restarts immediately again in an endless loop although enough memory is allocated and still available. For details please see the attached gc log. Environment is Amd64, Ubuntu 10.04, OpenJDK6, Tomcat6. Installation as recommended in the Ubuntu Server Guide. This bug report can be deleted as the same happens with the Sun-java6.
