Resolved. I totally deleted everything having to do with mutagen, and also my ~/.quodlibet folder, and everything is up and running. This wasn't really a bug. I just had to purge mutagen and reinstall. Public bug reported: Ubuntu release: 8.10 Package version: 1.14-1 I was trying to install Quod Libet, but python-mutagen failed. The weird thing is, Synaptic says I have mutagen 1.14-1 installed.
