[Bug 1940484] [NEW] heat-cfntools missing python files from Focal onwards
Public bug reported: Trying to use heat cfn-tools fails on Focal and newer due to the missing Python files required. # cfn-init Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/cfn-init", line 22, in from heat_cfntools.cfntools import cfn_helper ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'heat_cfntools' Comparing the Bionic and Focal package file list shows that the Focal package is simply missing all of the Python files. ** Affects: heat-cfntools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1940484 Title: heat-cfntools missing python files from Focal onwards To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/heat-cfntools/+bug/1940484/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1894045] [NEW] modpython support missing from Ganglia
Public bug reported: The Python module checks scripts from the ganglia-monitor-python package are effectively useless as libganglia1 does not include /usr/lib/ganglia/modpython.so, which it did in Bionic. The packages from 19.10 appear to be the same upstream Ganglia version, but do include Python support and in fact, appear to work fine when installed on Focal. Is it possible to include the Python support again to these packages in Focal, or has it been dropped because it depends on Python 2.7? ** Affects: ganglia (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1894045 Title: modpython support missing from Ganglia To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ganglia/+bug/1894045/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 152206] Re: Intel 965G (GMA X3000) - Video Tearing Effect Poor Performance
wfrancis, I must have been asleep when I wrote that. I meant to say Vertical Blank Sync. You can find it from the Configuration - Appearance - Screen menu. It seemed to fix my tearing issue, but I was getting other problems. I was seeing the screen flicker and jump, and this often ended with the screen going all one colour and requiring a reboot to fix it. I've switched to the i810 driver which seems to work better. -- Intel 965G (GMA X3000) - Video Tearing Effect Poor Performance https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152206 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 152206] Re: Intel 965G (GMA X3000) - Video Tearing Effect Poor Performance
I'm using a Mac Mini with the Intel 945GM chipset, and using XBMC on Hardy, I see some pretty nasty video tearing. I found that XBMC has a Vsync to Black option, which fixes the tearing, but after about 5-10 minutes, the whole screen goes one colour, and to get X working again, I need to reboot. I'm using xserver-xorg-video-intel version 2:2.2.1-1ubuntu12. -- Intel 965G (GMA X3000) - Video Tearing Effect Poor Performance https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152206 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 59867] Re: Synaptics touchpad ceases functioning after suspend and resume.
Hi Leann, I've just attached my dmesg output. I put a little // Resume mark in the middle where the resume started. [Bug 162865] Re: au.archive.ubuntu.com is useless.
I agree, this mirror is useless. I would personally love to see a manual option for selecting your mirror, because in AU, lots of ISP do mirroring which is not counted in traffic usage. I wouldn't mind so much, but the Optus mirror takes a ridiculously long time to do anything. It's even useless as a sourceforge mirror too. I keep having to select Taiwan or Japan. Can we have au.archive.ubuntu.com point to another mirror? Maybe AARNet, Pacific or even the Uni of WA? -- au.archive.ubuntu.com is useless. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/162865 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 59867] Re: Synaptics touchpad ceases functioning after suspend and resume.
I've just encountered this bug in an up-to-date hardy on my MacBook Pro. I have tried a few things to try and fix it, but I haven't had any luck. In my xorg.conf, I've switched it to use the event protocol with the specific device. Section InputDevice Identifier Synaptics Touchpad Driver synaptics Option SendCoreEventstrue Option Device /dev/input/by-id/usb-Apple_Computer_Apple_Internal_Keyboard_._Trackpad-event-mouse Option Protocol event It works great on first bootup, but after a resume, I get this in the Xorg.0.log: (EE) xf86OpenSerial: Cannot open device /dev/input/by-id/usb- Apple_Computer_Apple_Internal_Keyboard_._Trackpad-event-mouse Has anybody else found this problem? Maybe it's MacBook Pro specific? The resume ordering of kernel modules? ** Also affects: linux-source-2.6.24 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Synaptics touchpad ceases functioning after suspend and resume. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/59867 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
