I would certainly nominate it for Maverick, as I still have this problem there, but I don't see a nominate button anywhere. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/320390 Title: Cannot connect to 802.1x/PEAP/mschapv2 wireless network with rt2860 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/320390/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 445487] Re: Network-Manager fails WPA2 Enterprise configuration
I have had this same problem on our corporate network (PEAP/MSCHAPv2) for so long now, I almost don't notice the smirks and eyerolls when I have to scrounge for a wired connection in a conference room. Is there a way to use something akin to the p12 workaround in the PEAP/MSCHAPv2 (login/password) case? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/445487 Title: Network-Manager fails WPA2 Enterprise configuration -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 320390] Re: Cannot connect to 802.1x/PEAP/mschapv2 wireless network with rt2860
I am also still unable to connect to PEAP/mschapv2. In my case I am seeing the following in my syslog: Nov 18 09:37:35 my_laptop wpa_supplicant[1587]: TLS: Certificate verification failed, error 19 (self signed certificate in certificate chain) depth 2 for '/C=US/O=The Go Daddy Group, Inc./OU=Go Daddy Class 2 Certification Authority' Nov 18 09:37:35 my_laptop wpa_supplicant[1587]: SSL: SSL3 alert: write (local SSL3 detected an error):fatal:unknown CA I don't actually know if this is the same or different cause as in jaunty (where I also could not connect to PEAP/mschapv2) I've responded posted more of my syslog at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network- manager/+bug/293238/comments/3, but seen no response. -- Cannot connect to 802.1x/PEAP/mschapv2 wireless network with rt2860 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/320390 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I'm seeing similar symptoms in 64-bit Hardy on a Lenovo X61 laptop -- when I restore from a suspend, NM shows an exclamation point and networking is disabled.
