After 16.04 this happened. Also there is no such issue with Windows 10
I can't install a new image. I need to take whole lot of back up.

Re: [Bug 1624033] Re: unity issue

2016-09-15 Thread Anupam Datta
Yup. I did and rebooted but there is no change. After login, I see at the
left upper side, the menu is File Edit View Go Bookmarks Help
There is no panel, no launcher. No minimizer maximize button for any
application

Re: [Bug 1589263] Re: Xorg freeze

2016-07-04 Thread Anupam Datta
I didnt install any third party kernel. I had downloaded from Ubuntu repo
as my touchscreen was not working. I was suggested to download from Ubuntu
official repo, not from any arbitrary source and exactly I had done that.
And it got updated after that from Ubuntu updates.

Previously I was told to download latest kernel from Ubuntu repo and I did
that. And you are saying unsupported? Can you please give me exact
downloadable links of kernel? I will download and install and will see
whether the Problem is there or not

2016-06-11 Thread Anupam Datta

[Bug 1542674] Re: Xorg freeze

2016-02-13 Thread Anupam Datta
HP Envy 15-ae008tx_Laptop
(HP Part Code: M9V81PA)
Also a new bug I had faced is if I try lshw command in terminal, it waits to
collate info and after showing laptop become too slow and finally hangs. Then I
had to hard reboot. This I faced earlier too in different Ubuntu versions. And
this bug can be reproduced with same command.

[Bug 1542674] Re: Xorg freeze

2016-02-13 Thread Anupam Datta
I can try with live USB. But will this sufficient enough to reproduce
bug due to nvidia driver ? Actual install is not possible since I need
to take many backup which is painful. and this build is daily build and
not official stable release.
