I just got some updates and now using Chromium (Version 20.0.1132.47 Ubuntu 12.10 (144678)) I can switch to the Gmail tab in my browser with the alt-tab shortcut. Gmail can also be launched from the dash and it appears in the launcher. [Bug 1062903] [NEW] Removing the package does not remove the entry in messages indicator
Public bug reported: I had installed unity-webapps-googleplus and wanted to remove it, which I did using the following command: sudo apt-get purge unity-webapps-googleplus It worked but the Google+ entry in messages indicator was not removed.
