[Bug 1426794] [NEW] Wrong keymap on HP Compaq 8710W
Public bug reported: On my HP 8710W, before the latest round of updates, the fn+f9, fn+f10, and fn+f11 would control brightness up, brightness down, and ambient light sensor toggle, respectively. [Bug 1181106] Re: Failed to change profile to A2DP in 13.04 (Raring) and 13.10 (saucy)

[Bug 897786] Re: Kernel is dropping non-PAE flavour
Fedora's method sounds much more reasonable. I agree with most of Ubuntu's decisions, but putting my ThinkPad T42 (1.7 GHz PM, 400 MHz FSB, Radeon 9600) out in the cold while my T43 (1.73 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, Intel GMA 900) remains supported is about the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. [Bug 1075792] Re: Slow Unity 3D performance in 12.10 Quantal Quetzal
Tried it, no effect whatsoever. If it helps, the reflection/glare on the Unity dash pane seems to be distorted/cut off in places and flickers occasionally.
