[Bug 1915445] Re: [MIR] python-aws-requests-auth package
I reviewed python-aws-requests-auth 0.4.3-2 as checked into impish. This shouldn't be considered a full audit but rather a quick gauge of maintainability. python-aws-requests-auth is a python package for manually signing AWS requests with additional functionality to retrieve AWS credentials via boto. - CVE History: - No history of CVEs - Build-Depends? - debhelper-compat (= 13), dh-python, python3-all, python3-botocore, python3-mock, python3-setuptools - pre/post inst/rm scripts? - Populated automatically by python debhelper - No init scripts - No systemd units - No dbus services - No setuid binaries - No binaries in PATH - No sudo fragments - No polkit files - No udev rules - unit tests / autopkgtests - Unit tests passing - Unit tests run during build - Well-documented test suite - No cron jobs - Build logs: - No significant build errors or warnings - No lintian failures - No processes spawned - Memory management N/A - No file IO - No logging - No environment variables - No use of privileged functions - Use of cryptography - Uses python HMAC module to sign the requests, in accordance with the official AWS examples. - No use of temp files - Use of networking - Retrieves AWS credentials with boto module in a non-core/convenience function. - No use of WebKit - No use of PolicyKit - No significant cppcheck results - No significant Coverity results - No significant shellcheck results - No significant bandit results python-aws-requests-auth is not currently actively maintained upstream (https://github.com/DavidMuller/aws-requests- auth/pull/52#issuecomment-583591776), the latest PR from Feb 2021 has not been responded to. That said, the code base is small and neatly documented, heavily drawing from the existing AWS example code for it's functionality. [Bug 1918640] Re: Error ketika penukaran kupon pelatihan prakerja
Thank you for using Ubuntu and taking the time to report a bug. Your report should contain, at a minimum, the following information so we can better find the source of the bug and work to resolve it. Submitting the bug about the proper source package is essential. For help see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . Additionally, in the report please include: 1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'cat /etc/lsb-release' or System -> About Ubuntu. 2) The version of the package you are using, via 'dpkg -l PKGNAME | cat' or by checking in Synaptic. 3) What happened and what you expected to happen. The Ubuntu community has also created debugging procedures for a wide variety of packages at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures . Following the debugging instructions for the affected package will make your bug report much more complete. [Bug 1913666] [NEW] acl dropped in Focal server image
Public bug reported: The acl package is not shipped by default in the Focal server image (though it looks like libacl1 is still being shipped), it was last shipped in the Bionic server image. Just to double check, was dropping acl intentional? It is a reverse-dependency of LXD if that might be the explanation (as it's now shipped as a snap in Focal rather than the deb in Bionic)? And the same question applies to uidmap, another LXD dependency no longer shipped in the Focal server image. Thank you! ** Affects: acl (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1913666 Title: acl dropped in Focal server image To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/acl/+bug/1913666/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1896367] Re: package ubuntu-software 3.36.1-0ubuntu0.20.04.0 failed to install/upgrade: problemas de dependencias - se deja sin configurar
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. [Bug 1543641] Re: [MIR] python-sqlalchemy-utils
I reviewed python-sqlalchemy-utils 0.36.1-0ubuntu2 as checked into groovy. This shouldn't be considered a full audit but rather a quick gauge of maintainability. python-sqlalchemy-utils is a python package providing additional data types and utility functions for SQLAlchemy. - CVE History: - No history of CVEs - No security sensitive Build-Depends - debhelper-compat (= 12), dh-python, openstack-pkg-tools, python3-all, python3-setuptools, python3-sphinx - pre/post inst/rm scripts - Populated automatically by python debhelper - No init scripts - No systemd units - No dbus services - No setuid binaries - No binaries in PATH - No sudo fragments - No polkit files - No udev rules - unit tests / autopkgtests - Unit tests passing, run during build - Sizable and organized test suite - Autopkgtests minimal, although also passing - No cron jobs - Build logs - No significant build errors or warnings - Some autodoc warnings - No processes spawned - Memory management is n/a - No notable file IO - No logging - No environment variable usage - No use of privileged functions - No use of cryptography / random number sources - No use of temp files - No of networking - No use of WebKit - No use of PolicyKit - No significant cppcheck results - No significant Coverity results - No significant shellcheck results - No significant bandit results Produced some autodoc tracebacks during build but nothing egregious, code is well documented and backed by a sizable test suite. Security team ACK for promoting python-sqlalchemy-utils to main. ** Changed in: python-sqlalchemy-utils (Ubuntu) Assignee: Ubuntu Security Team (ubuntu-security) => (unassigned) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1543641 Title: [MIR] python-sqlalchemy-utils To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python-sqlalchemy-utils/+bug/1543641/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1872073] Re: firefox can't access internet after libgd3 update to new version 2.2.5-4ubuntu 0.4 linux mint tricia bionic
Thanks! Taking a glance at the log it looks as if there have been a couple of Firefox updates (to version 74.0 then 75.0) which would more likely be causing your networking issues.
