[Bug 910276] [NEW] Bluetooth Keyboard/Mouse not working on login after upgrade to Oneric

2011-12-30 Thread BarryW
Public bug reported:

After upgrading from Natty to Oneric I rebooted to the login screen to
find my bluetooth keyboard and mouse not working. I was able to rectify
this by logging in via ssh and setting up my keyboard through the hidd
command, I then set it up through the bluetooth-applet. However this is
an unacceptable work around.

[Bug 686864] [NEW] Partitioner does not allow small partitions or crashes on existing partition map

2010-12-07 Thread BarryW
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I need to create a 8mb partition at the end of my sdcard for boot
booster on my eeepc 701 the ubuntu partitioner does not allow this I try
to create a partition of anywhere between 8000mb - 8086mb so that I can
create a 8mb partition after either with ubuntu or manually and all
attempts when I go through the process and click ok it goes back to the
partition screen without creating the partition.

I also tried creating the partition map manually and ubiquity crashed
when going in to the partitioner

This has caused me to be unable to use ubuntu at the moment

recompiling v4l-dvb tree fixes it however this is frustrating to do
everytime a kernel upgrade happens should this fix be in the mainline
