[Bug 1047261] Re: ecryptfs_encrypt_page: Error attempting to write lower page (regression)

2012-10-04 Thread Bartosz Radaczyński
FWIW: the workaround is to move the Idea folder to unencrypted directory
and create a symlink. Not only Idea does not crash anymore, but the
indexing is also much, much faster

[Bug 979756] Re: Top bar w/ radiance theme shows ugly colored fringe (unity2D and, to a lesser extent, unity3D)

2012-07-23 Thread Bartosz Radaczyński
Indeed, the issue only shows on the top bar, and oddly enough when you
actually choose a menu item, it is rendered correctly (i.e. without the
fringes). The workaround would be possibly to go to gnome-tweak-tool,
fonts and change the antialiasing to grayscale.

I am using nvidia card with nouveau drivers.

It seems that installing librsvg2-common resolved the startup issue, but
when running gpodder from console, I still get:

and the gui does not refresh the way it should (e.g. the downloads tab
refreshes only when changing the tabs, I cannot see the list of episodes
in each podcast etc.). It seems that librsvg2-common is not the only
missing dependency...

I will post the files tomorrow, but from what I have read I assume it is

read about that guy starting warsow on the second xserver. How would
that be possible without DRI?

[Bug 285298] Re: intel gfx: Error in I830WaitLpRing(), timeout for 2 seconds

2008-12-29 Thread Bartosz Radaczyński
I have done number 1 (installed and tested the debs from the link you have
provided). The output is attached. I've had the same messages in Xorg log file
and syslog file before. Now I do not get the
[drm:i915_wait_irq] *ERROR* EBUSY

lines in syslog, only the Xorg log file says:
[mi] EQ overflowing. The server is probably stuck in an infinite loop.

Is that enough, or should I try or attach something else here?

[Bug 312137] [NEW] DRI disabled for second xserver

2008-12-29 Thread Bartosz Radaczyński
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

starting a second xserver produces:
(==) Log file: /var/log/Xorg.1.log, Time: Mon Dec 29 13:25:56 2008
(==) Using config file: /etc/X11/xorg.conf
(EE) [drm] Could not set DRM device bus ID.
(EE) intel(0): [dri] DRIScreenInit failed. Disabling DRI.
(EE) intel(0): underrun on pipe B!

this makes it impossible to run GL games (that ever too frequently crash
the Xserver) on a separate server to avoid xsrever restarts. I would
expect the second server to have DRI support as well as the first one.
