[Bug 1485316] [NEW] dnsmasq breaks DNS, if not used as DNS server
Public bug reported: I use dnsmasq mainly as a TFTP/DHCP combination and disable the part of the dns-resolver. So i use port=0 to disable the DNS part. But the init- script always rewrites the resolv.conf, no matter if DNS is actually used. Could you add an option to the defaults-file, which the init-script checks and dependent on this, rewrites the config-file? ** Affects: dnsmasq (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1485316 Title: dnsmasq breaks DNS, if not used as DNS server To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dnsmasq/+bug/1485316/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
