I was sidloading through adb to flash an updated version of android for
a smartphone in xubuntu 17.10 and while in recovery , the process went
fine.. later i've seen the crash window in the background advising me to
report a bug, and there are no similar bug reports were found..

Today i tried to install Xubuntu 17.04 from USB in legacy BIOS mode ,
but th installer got stuck at

 " A start job is running for ubuntu live cd 
  installer ".

So, on the next attempt i went to boot in UEFI BIOS mode , and then the 
installer crashed on this # see screenshoot :
