[Bug 277393] Re: init script fails if NO_START=yes

2011-07-16 Thread Bertrand Croq
Now that mediatomb uses upstart, the problem is that NO_START is not
used anymore... I had to change the /etc/init/mediatomb file so the
NO_START value is checked just after sourcing the /etc/default/mediatomb
file:

...
script
[ -r $DEFAULT ] . $DEFAULT
[ $NO_START = yes ] exit 0
...

[Bug 633085] Re: xfce4-terminal causes 100% cpu usage (xorg)

2011-01-16 Thread Bertrand Croq
This bug seems to be back. I use Xubuntu Natty.

libvte9 1:0.27.4-0ubuntu1
xfce4-terminal 0.4.5-1ubuntu4

When I open an xfce4-terminal and run htop, I get Xorg that eats 60% of the CPU
and xfce4-terminal that takes 13%.
when I launch xterm and run htop, Xorg doesn't take any CPU, nor xterm.

[Bug 6365] Re: black lines flash across screen when typing

2008-11-02 Thread Bertrand Croq
Wheeler:
I have the problem using an old Asus Pundit P1 with integrated Sis graphics
chipset (newer ones use Intel graphics chipsets) with shared memory... this
could also be a bandwidth related problem. I'll try reducing the color depth.

Also, I sometime have those black lines while only moving the mouse in
Firefox.
