[Bug 304439] [NEW] can't get 1360x768 resolution to work right on laptop
Public bug reported: I'm trying to connect my laptop to an external monitor / hdtv via vga cable. When I change the resolution on the computer to 1360x768 it appears to me that it really is using 1280x768 instead. So that results in the hole screen not being used and the image is a bit blurry. What could cause this problem? Can confirm that changing the XVideo adaptor number to 1 in VLC works! I have the same problem. I can't watch videos on my laptop because of this. Video performance is really bad. I'm currently running hardy with the latest updates, I thought that the update xserver-xorg-video-intel (2:2.2.0.90-2ubuntu7) would solve my problem, but it didn't.
