I see this issue on a clean 16.0.4.2 install, I don't have any kind of
special input methods installed

[Bug 1170483] Re: The file manager (nautilus) handling the Desktop is not being enabled in live session

2013-04-21 Thread Bob Scott
Can also reproduce these issues on today's ISO:

Booted live usb
Choose Try Ubuntu

Issues I saw:
Dash will not respond to meta key
Compiz freezes whenever you minimize a window
And general bizarre compiz unity behaviour.

As soon as the box is checked to allow nautilus handling the desktop all
issues go away.

[Bug 1056425] Re: duplicated entries

2013-04-17 Thread Bob Scott
Yes, I see this behaviour in 12.10 and 13.04. When you first put some
videos into the video folder, the lens will show 1 entry for each as
expected. But upon a reboot it shows duplicates in the video lens for
each file.

Chris, thanks. I must have messed with the ROUND function at one time,
but don't recall it.

Actually this isn't a bug as far as I can see. You aren't ever rounding
the numbers to a certain precision you are just displaying them to a
certain precision. If you add ROUND(BLAH,2) to various cells it causes
the numbers to come out the way you want them to.
