[Bug 430810] Re: LDAP lookup in Kontact causes crash
Unticking LDAP server should mean you don't get LDAP lookup anymore. Except that Kmail doesn't seem to pick up on LDAP changes until after restarting the application. Does LDAP continue to work after you restart? This is a very frustrating bug. I've had to move to using thunderbird for now. -- LDAP lookup in Kontact causes crash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/430810 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdepim in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 382161] Re: NetworkManager doesn't use manual set DNS although there's an option for that
You go to Manage connections - Wireless tab - edit connection Select mode 'shared' and enter a manual dns. For me it still doesn't work. It just ends up with the dhcp assigned dns. -- NetworkManager doesn't use manual set DNS although there's an option for that https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/382161 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I have a similar problem. Except If I use DHCP with Manual DNS, I can't get the wireless to even establish a connection at all. Cchange it back to just plain DHCP and it connects straight away -- NetworkManager doesn't use manual set DNS although there's an option for that https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/382161 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 351990] Re: Kubuntu freezes when desktop effects are enabled
You can add me to the list too. I'm having the same issues. I tried adding: Option AccelMethodXAA but it didn't stop the freezes and in fact also added the black screen issue. -- Kubuntu freezes when desktop effects are enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/351990 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
