I can also confirm that this issue still exists in 10.04. So if this has been moved to a separate bug report, as Vish said, where is that other bug report? There is also a related issue that I think is only relevant to 10.04 - there is no way to remove the hibernate or sleep options from the indicator menu! [Bug 465812] Re: Soundblaster X-Fi XtremeGamer no mic
Same problem here, I cannot do any testing on it currently though as I took the soundcard out temporarily so I can use the internal sound and at least use Skype.
