[Bug 44428] Re: Multimedia keys repetition
The bug is in 7.04 too. I don't know about gusty (should I test it with liveCD?). I am not sure it is a hotkey package bug : this package is not installed on my pc. As I said in my first message, I have define this shortcut in systempreferenceskeyboard shortcuts (Gnome). The page you pointed me to identify the right package cannot help me to found what package contain the shorcut preferences of Gnome. [Bug 41458] Re: No DVD icon in Places Computer and Desktop when mounted
I have upgrade hal (hal, hal-device-manager, libhal1, libhal-storage1, hal-info) to 0.5.9-1ubuntu2~feisty1 from feisty-backport and now the bug is fixed for me. -- No DVD icon in Places Computer and Desktop when mounted https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/41458 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

If I restart dbus (sudo /etc/init.d/dbus restart), the dvd icon appears on the desktop and in nautilus left panel. -- No DVD icon in Places Computer and Desktop when mounted https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/41458 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 41458] Re: No DVD icon in Places Computer and Desktop when mounted
I have the same issue with my feisty : When I insert a dvd, it is mounted correctly in /media/cdrom0 but it doesn't appear on my desktop nor in the left panel (tree or places) of nautilus. Curiously, with a CD in the same drive, all works fine. On Dapper, all works fine both with CD and DVD. [Bug 69903] Retro-compatibility problem with gconf option
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager After my upgrade to edgy, the import dialog didn't open anymore when I connected my digital camera. But gnome-volume-manager-gthumb works well when I launch it in a terminal. Finely, I found the problem : /desktop/gnome/volume_manager/prompts/camera_import_photos key in gconf was set to 5 by a previous version of Ubuntu (I don't know witch one, I use it since warty). I have reset it, and now the value is 6 for a behavior like before edgy. So there is a retro-compatibity issue in the gconf option for gnome- volume-manager. I think the best thing is to understand old format option, or reset it when there is an inconsistency. NB : I tried to check/uncheck digital camera import in Systempreferencesamovible media, but it didn't change anything. ** Affects: gnome-volume-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed ** Description changed: Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager After my upgrade to edgy, the import dialog didn't open anymore when I connected my digital camera. [Bug 42957] Re: Control mouse with keyboard crash X
I have upgraded to Edgy today, and this bug disappear. In fact the dragdrop functionality was simply removed, that is why there is no longer the bug. [Bug 42957] Re: Control mouse with keyboard crash X
It was with dapper with hard install and with the livecd. I didn't install edgy yet, but with the edgy livecd the problem doesn't occur.
