[Bug 1606078] Re: No sound with Ubuntu 16.04

2017-06-19 Thread César Biosca .
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1533343 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1533343

Very same issue on an Asus E202SA.

After watching a movie pulseaudio stoped working at the next reboot. Now
I must use ALSA, but cannot use headphones o connect to HDI and listen
only with the netbook's sound. It is very annoying and disturbing.

At best I get this (took a screenshot). Before I got a notice saying
that could not connect to the pulseaoudio server...

[Bug 1544305] Re: [needs-packaging] Unable to locate package freemind - Ubuntu 16.04

2016-06-02 Thread César Biosca .
Found a way:

step 1:
Paste this code in your software sources:
deb http://archive.getdeb.net/ubuntu wily-getdeb apps
install updates

step 2:
Open terminal and install:
sudo apt-get install freeplane
or in synaptic

Step 3:
Install:
libbcel-java (6.0~rc3-2ubuntu1)
libjibx-java (1.2.6-1)
libjibx1.2-java (1.2.6-1)

Step 4:
Download:
libjibx1.1-java_1.1.6a-3ubuntu1_all.deb
I used: http://packages.ubuntu.com/precise/all/libjibx1.1-java/download
Install using gdebi

Step 5:
Install Freemind

Step 6:
Enjoy

[Bug 532806] [NEW] After upgrading to kubuntu 9.10, I have problems with alsa sound.

2010-03-05 Thread César Biosca .
Public bug reported:

The problem is going this way:
1stI start amarok, sounds ok.
2nd If I navigate under any page that has video or sound, it does not work,
but amarok is still working.
3rd If I stop amarok for any reason, multimedia web pages gain access to alsa
and there is sound, but if I try to play musinc under amarok, THERE IT IS,
THERE IS NO MUSIC.

I learned how to turn it around? RESTARTING KDE, but it is tedious and
sometimes it does not work and then I have to restart the machine.

It looks like no problem right?

And last subject: Do you recommend me to do what they say under the page:
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/10964/how-to-fix-sound-issues-in-ubuntu-9.10/

Installing an older version of alsa?

Thanks in advanced [and specially for your patience].
